I just finished the series for the first time and would love to keep delving into their adventures. Thanks!
I donβt have a comic book store where I live so I usually buy trade paperbacks online, how long does it usually take from a Star Wars comic initial release to the release of the trade paperback containing it?
I much prefer trades over singular issues as they organize a story, and arenβt as flimsy and are tougher. I like the idea of collecting them, but Iβm not sure if that seems strange as collecting traditionally refers to comic book issues.

OK, so I don't read comics in general, but I am interested in looking into the original Mirage Studios comics from beginning to end. And from my understanding, there are a bunch of reprints of these comics throughout the years, but I wanna know which specific trade paperbacks has the original comics in black and white more accurately rather then reprinting them in color (unless there are issues that were originally printed in color first and foremost, then OK).
And most importantly, are ALL of the issues of the Mirage Studios comics (all four volumes, including the Tales of the TMNT comics and more) ALL reprinted in any of those trades? Please let me know which specific trades would you recommend.
Thank you.
I'm looking for trades mostly but if you just want to buy the stuff that's okay.
I have a ton of trade paperbacks I'm looking for. Let me know what you have.
I am also looking for single issues of Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane, Adventure Comics, Impulse and New Mutants (volume 1). If you have any of those issues, let me know and I'll look and see what I need.
I actually organized my books during quarantine so I realized I have a bunch of doubles of things and a couple things I just don't want any more. Every thing (except New Avengers) is half off cover price. If you have questions or need pictures, let me know. I'm happy to provide them.
Shipping is FREE in the US over $25 and I'm happy to give shipping prices to people outside the US or anyone going under $25.

... keep reading on reddit β‘hello, I am just trying to get into comic books now and I was wondering if i was better off getting trade paperbacks or just bulk buying the issues. i wanted to try to start with the earlier comics such as the first spider man comics etc. but they are hard to get and aren't worth the investment unless I become very passionate about comics, is there anyway i can read them such as any trade paperbacks with the first issues in them?
thank you
So not only am I thinking about reading the Archie comics (and I do mean EVERY single Sonic the Hedgehog-related comics including spin-offs, crossovers and shit as possible), but I'm also thinking about reading Sonic the Comic by Fleetway as well just to see how good (or bad) the series is, and just wanting to explore different continuities' lore since that's what I'm always fascinated with, that's all...
So please, tell me if the Fleetway comics are sold in trade paperbacks or if I basically have to purchase each issues individually. (No spoilers on the comics BTW, I wanna read and experience them myself). Thank you.
Now, I don't just mean Paul Dini and Bruce Timm's DC Animated Universe specifically, I'm talking about other animated series' outside of the DCAU, like Teen Titans (2003-2006), The Batman (2004-2008), Legion of Super Heroes (2006-2008), Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2008-2011) Young Justice (2010- ), Green Lantern: The Animated Series (2011-2013) and even Beware the Batman (2013-2014) just to name a few...
Now, I've enjoyed Brave and the Bold, Young Justice and Green Lantern back when I watched them, though I've not seen Teen Titans (I have seen TTG! though.... sorry), The Batman, Legion, or Beware, unfortunately. BUT, I do know that each of these shows and more have tie-in comics that coincided with them when they originally aired, and from my understanding, each issue are set between episodes of each shows. And they even expanded on these individual shows own lore and universe, is that correct? Are the comics canon to the TV shows?
And that's where I'm interested in doing a marathon for each of these shows AND their tie-in comics one step at a time, and I know these shows are available on streaming for convenience sake. But that brings me back to my question, what about the tie-in comics to all of those shows and more? Are each of them collected in trade paperbacks individually, or do I basically have to purchase each issues on eBay or read them on readcomiconline.to???
If anyone knows, please tell me. Thanks in advance.
I collected briefly in 2006 and I managed to get all eight parts of the "Face The Face" Two-Face storyline in Batman #651-654 and Detective Comics #817-820!
OK, so I wanna read ALL of the Sonic comics (including the spin-offs) published by Archie in order from start to finish, and I was wondering if there are trade paperback collections for every single issues ever.
I'm wanna explore the lore of the comic's universe and the characters that were introduced in the comics as well. (No spoilers BTW) Heck, I might even add the Mega Man comics in my chronological read list just for better context when reading those crossovers specials.
If anyone knows any good trade paperback collections for all of the comics and where to find them online, please let me know.
Oh, and while I'm at it, are their also trade paperbacks for Fleetway's Sonic the Comic as well? I'd like to read those and explore their own universe's lore as well. (Man, I'm just dying to explore other universe's lore out of curiosity, aren't I? Haha... ^(Again, no spoilers))
Thanks in advance...
So far I've only been a DC comics reader, but I'm interested in getting into trying some Marvel stuff as well.
Usually, my mileage as far as reading comics goes about as far as reading graphic novels/trade paperbacks that collect (relatively) contained stories. Does anyone have any good suggestions for Marvel trades to pick up that really show off some of the best of Marvel comics.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I was considering getting these titles, especially as I've just started getting into reading about these characters:
Birds of Prey (Gail Simone, on Amazon UK)
Stargirl by Geoff Johns (I saw the full collected one on Amazon UK and know Waterstone's stock it, yet not in physical Waterstone's shops with their DC Comics collection).
Power Girl - Supergirl's alternate universe counterpart (heard about this last year, but I've heard about the character ages ago).
It's the second and third I'm considering more than Stargirl.
I've not really bought comic books since November 2003, a good 17 years ago, but it's good to get back into this.
It's a change from my usual type of The Flash / Superman - type comic books I go for, but still DC Comics, which I'm a fan of, but it's worth it, since I'm going by "if there's a character I like, go with only the story arcs etc. you like, not the full series of every title they're in in that particular continuity".
I'd be interested to hear your opinions on this, especially as I'll be visiting a comic-book store soon, normally I tend to look in Waterstone's (British bookstore) or my local library for comic books, but I intend to build a small collection (maybe around 8 - 10 at the most, selling them on, giving something back to the comic book community as detailed in a post on here by a fan who sold most of his collection, forgotten which post that is!).
I am going on a trip to Spain (madrid area), italy, and Portugal. Do any of you know of good comicbook stores for omnibus, hardcovers and trade paperbacks? I am looking for english and or spanish books, thanks!
Ex: I always thought The Long Halloween was a great story that encapsulated everything I loved about the Batman character.
I've been wanting to get into new characters and wanted to know which stories capture them the best.
