The Lego Movie

In LEGO Worlds you fall down to the world(maybe through the magic portal?). You crash down and you are free to build whatever you want, because you are the first Master Builder. The world is one big world with deserts, candy lands, Warlocks, skeletons, polar bears and dragons all in one place because Lord Business has not split it up yet. So far you are the only one with this ability to build, but soon (when multiplayer is added) you will join together to create the Master Builders.

I thought this was a pretty common opinion, but then I suddenly started noticing a lot of people loved and found it super funny, original and amazing. And I'm not saying it's not, but I hate that movie.

The plot is dumb, the jokes are incredibly unfunny, and the soundtrack is unbearably bad (how on earth can someone like Everything is Awesome? I understand people like different kinds of music, but that song? I just don't get it), and everything happens too fast (until the live action part at the end that is unbearably slow? Terrible pacing, in my opinion).

Not a single character is decent (maybe that cop is okay, but not great either). And don't even get me started on Batman. His character makes no sense at all. And why is Will Ferrel there? And that ending? Aaaagh I can't stand it.

There are some good things. I really like how all the Lego things are built and transformed, and the animation is good, I guess (I really liked they kind of went for a stop-motion style). But other than that? I honestly don't see the hype for it.

why am I doing this?Almost a year ago, there was a game (Batman Arkham: Origins) that I wanted so bad, but couldn't get because of Covid. (Covid is still here, but at least I can work again.). However some random stranger on reddit told me he would buy the game for me. He didn't want anything in return, but I made a promise that I would do they same thing he did for me, for some other stranger. Over the past months I've given games to my friends and family, but now I'll give some to people I don't know.Not only am I able to work, I also got pretty good grades for Law school so my summer vacation looks good for now. (I still have some exams in June, but they're going to go well). So I'm pretty happy and really wanted to do this to make someone else happy.

for reference: my hardest song is concerto No.4 in F minor, Op.8, RV 297, "L'inverno" by Antonio Vivaldi.(you don't have to send classical music, you can send metal too, I love metal or anything else)

EDIT: What I meant with HARD is: something you can headbang to or go hard on, but if you guys wanna talk about difficulty of playing a certain piece of music then that's OK. (I'll allow it, cus I'm a pianist myself and also have experienced hard to play music)

So I assume you guys read the title, in which case I’ll explain what I mean.

The godhand are basically the main antagonists in the berserk manga and they basically exist outside the physical world but they control the fates of humans and monsters alike in the shadows. They practically control causality and are practically untouchable. The humans might have free will but that doesn’t matter to the godhand.

In the Lego movie we have our protagonists who are basically legos and their fates are basically controlled by a kid. The legos also have a will of their own as shown in this clip but it’s the humans outside that ultimately control their fates in the lego world. Inside the lego world the legos cannot even perceive the humans just like in berserk where the humans can’t normally perceive the godhand.

So with all this in mind fellow berserk fans, how in the heck is guts supposed to win? He might as well be a lego fighting a human in this instance.

Today, after finishing the story mode of lego ninjago the movie the video game, it occurred to me how it could be a sequel to the movie. We assume that the film was not well acclaimed by fans and a sequel is very unlikely. If they were to make a sequel in my opinion they would do it as a redemption of the first film. The first idea that came to my mind is a film based on season 3 Rebooted and season 4 tournament of elements. The film would be set in a ninjago rebuilt by cyrus borg complete with nindroids patrolling the city, at the same time to celebrate the reconstruction of the city the tournament of the elements is organized by the master chen. Before the start of the tournament, cyrus borg will ask the ninja for help in finding the grave of the overlord which was stolen a few days earlier. During the tournament Chen will steal the powers of the elemental masters who lose combat, and then use the stolen powers to awaken the overlord from the grave that he had made Claus steal. After the overlord is released the nindroid army will turn to ninjago city and its inhabitants so the ninjas and other elemental masters will unite to defeat the threat. For the ending it could be that the ninjas must become golden ninjas and all this can be done thanks to the power of Lloyd that unites everyone. The ninja suits could be those used in legacy sets so they could also advertise the sets. The elemental masters may be the same as the series but with different designs. There may also be a romance between pixal and zane. And also a love story between Kay and Skylor. And Zane could also become titanium like in the series.
