I thought it'd be fun to post the situation so far with the unconfirmed countries for Eurovision 2019. I took the info directly from here, and added a couple more in-deep links for each country if relevant.
Albania – Although not confirming Eurovision participation, Albanian broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) has made a call for song submissions for the 57th edition of Festivali i Këngës, the national selection event. (bottom line - they will confirm soon)
Andorra – Despite being absent for 10 years, local media reported that Ràdio i Televisió d'Andorra (RTVA) was still interested in returning to the contest, but the principality's failure to make the final along with the cost was discouraging the broadcaster from participating. In order for a return to take place, RTVA would need funding from the Andorran Government.[51] On 19 May 2018, Andorra confirmed that they would not return in 2019. (bottom line- not coming back)
Armenia - participated in 2018, but have not yet made any official announcement regarding their participation in 2019. (bottom line- will probably confirm soon)
Austria – Although Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) has not yet confirmed participation, Austrian singer-songwriter Joe Traxler has stated that they are considering him as a potential representative. Additionally, Austrian singer Sara de Blue, who competed in the 2018 Sammarinese national final, stated she was open to representing her home country. (bottom line - will confirm soon)
Belarus - participated in 2018, but have not yet made any official announcement regarding their participation in 2019. (bottom line- will probably confirm soon)
Bosnia and Herzegovina – On 25 May 2018, the Bosnian broadcaster, Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT), stated that the country will not be allowed to return to the contest in 2019 until debt-related sanctions placed on them by the EBU are lifted. Bosnia & Herzegovina last took part in 2016. (bottom line- not coming back)
Georgia - participated in 2018, but have not yet made any official announcement regarding their participation in 2019. (bottom line- will probably confirm soon)
You let me know if I've missed any Wikipedia articles and I'll include them. Also, mods feel free to delete if this isn't an appropriate sub for it but I figured making strong arguments against the two states most closely allied with the one that claims us is a reasonable idea. But it's your call.

Her husband, Jack, rushed to Ashcombe House Maternity Home and was at his wife’s side as she gave birth to their one and only daughter. They would name her Jill Wendy Dando.
Jill’s early years were an uphill struggle. When she was just three years old, it was discovered that she had a blocked pulmonary artery, as well as a hole in her tiny heart. The pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood from the right side of the heart to the lungs, where it will be loaded up with oxygen again before circulating the body. Unless the blockage was cleared, the infant Jill’s lungs would be unable to form even the most basic of functions. Her young life was in grave danger.
But thanks to the budding National Health Service, the infant Jill was taken care of. Doctors from all over the former British Empire took part in the delicate operation to sew up and unblock her tiny, still beating heart. The operation was a complete success and Jill grew up to be a healthy, happy girl.
After her comprehensive education, Jill went on to study journalism at the South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education in nearby Cardiff, Wales. It was there she would be filled with a passion for dramatics and media, taking part in local Amateur Dramatics and Theatre companies and even volunteering for Sunshine Hospital Radio, a non-profit organization that wished to bring a little ray of sunshine into the lives of sick and injured patients. It appears that Jill never, ever forgot the debt she owed to her nation’s medical professionals.

When President Clinton dropped 23,000 bombs on what was left of Yugoslavia in 1999 and NATO invaded and occupied the Yugoslav province of Kosovo, U.S. officials presented the war to the American public as a “humanitarian intervention” to protect Kosovo’s majority ethnic Albanian population from genocide at the hands of Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic. That narrative has been unraveling piece by piece ever since.
In 2008 an international prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte, accused U.S.-backed Prime Minister Hashim Thaci of Kosovo of using the U.S. bombing campaign as cover to murder hundreds of people to sell their internal organs on the international transplant market. Del Ponte’s charges seemed almost too ghoulish to be true. But on June 24th, Thaci, now President of Kosovo, and nine other former leaders of the CIA-backed Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA,) were finally indicted for these 20-year-old crimes by a special war crimes court at The Hague.
From 1996 on, the CIA and other Western intelligence agencies covertly worked with the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) to instigate and fuel violence and chaos in Kosovo. The CIA spurned mainstream Kosovar nationalist leaders in favor of gangsters and heroin smugglers like Thaci and his cronies, recruiting them as terrorists and death squads to assassinate Yugoslav police and anyone who opposed them, ethnic Serbs and Albanians alike.
As it has done in country after country since the 1950s, the CIA unleashed a dirty civil war that Western politicians and media dutifully blamed on Yugoslav authorities. But by early 1998, even U.S. envoy Robert Gelbard called the KLA a “terrorist group” and the UN Security Council condemned “acts of terrorism” by the KLA and “all external support for terrorist activity in Kosovo, including finance, arms and training.” Once the war was over and Kosovo was successfully occupied by U.S. and NATO forces, CIA sources openly touted [the agency’s role](https://ww

Kjo poshtme esht nje pergjigje nga useri Luka Sopia, pytja esht "What are some interesting stories from the Kosovo War?" ne Quora
Pergjigjja: Well before they are interesting, all of them are painful. And every Kosovar has their own story of the war. Some of them more painful, some less, but still in every story there is pain present.
My story is not as those who experienced the worst. I am from Prishtina and I was just teenage. We had a Serbian neighbor who was a police man. When the war started and when a lot of people started moving he came to our home and told us - ‘Do not worry, they will do nothing to the catholics’ - which was not true. My family was a catholic Albanian family and Serbs did not care if you are muslim, catholic, buddhist - it was important to them that you are an Albanian. One day the same neighbor came and told to my family “It is better if you go. I cannot protect you. And you know what would happen if they come and for sure they will come.” Serbian paramilitary forces were entering every Albanian house/apartment in the city. Killing people, raping women and less percentage of men and making all of them to go away from their homes. The next day - me, my younger brother, my mother, my father and my grandmother left our apartment and just followed a column of thousand people walking. We were all walking fast. We left everything home. We could not bring anything with us. All my books, my computer, everything that was important for me. While we were walking we were seeing the faces of our Serbian neighbours in their windows. Some of them were extremely happy and one crazy ugly Serbian lady was screaming through the window “You wanted Albania, now you are going to Albania. You will never come back”.
We arrived at the main train station and there were thousands of people, children crying, women mourning. The Serbs had no mercy. They were kicking people no matter if they were elderly, children or women. They were shouting and screaming all the time in Serbian insulting the people. One Serbian soldier what I remember was saying - “You see how good are we. We are not killing you, we even arranged a transport for you, you ungrateful dogs”. There were some Serbian soldiers who were picking up some young (mostly beautiful) girls and young boys and they had to go with them. The girls were crying and hugging someone near them if they were picked. And there was only one older Albanian lady who had the courage to tell to the Serbs: “Why are yo

Kosovo is Serbia and it will always stay so. Serbia is however unable to act law and order there since it was occupied by the west and the Albanian speaking population of the province illegitimately declared independence. New programs as announced by the Serbian government will fade away the insurgency and re-establish law in the province. Serbian law.
A first step is to establish new radio and television channels part of the public Radio Television of Serbia. These will be in Albanian language and mainly adressed to the Albanian speaking part of the Serbian population. These channels will include the same news broadcasted by RTS' main Serbian language channel, but translated to Albanian. Between news programs there will be entertainment, sports and talkshows. [S] All including pro-Serbian and anti-Kosovar propaganda, and of course the talkshows and news programs will be biased. [/S] All these programs will be politically neutral and only bring facts.
Radio Television of Serbia: Albanian as the Albanian language branch of the public broadcater will be called, will start airing television and radio from upcoming March through all of Serbia (including Kosovo).

Initial talks with Romani served useful proving the greater cooperation and the return to positive relations is possible. Largely because of Serbian willingness to abandon CSTO membership and pursue neutrality. Good faith by the delegates of Romania have also proved useful in allowing the talks to progress. Delegates of Serbia and Romania will now meet in private to discuss some specifics. It is expected to be held in good faith that these talks will remain private between these two nations exclusively unless otherwise stated.

The international community should stop using force to keep Bosnia and Herzegovina artificially alive and allows its peoples self-determination, Heinz-Christina Strache, a leader of the far-right Freedom Party of Austria, FPO, said in an interview.Speaking to Radio Television Republika Srpska, RTRS, the public broadcaster in Bosnia’s mainly Serbian entity, he said: “Serbs and Croats in BiH should have the right to self-determination and this right should not be denied to anyone.”Strache said he had very good relations with RS President Milorad Dodik and his ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD, although the FPO is on the right while Dodik's SNSD belongs nominally to the left. The two parties share a lot in common though. They're both pro-russian, very conservative(each in its way) and op
A report by the Kosovar Center for Security Studies warns that Islamic State will remain a challenge for Kosovo until its institutions mount a comprehensive, multifaceted campaign to combat its message. The report has shed more light on an ever growing problem in Kosovo where people leave their homes to go fight for ISIS.Looking at municipalities that have been more affected by radicalization, KCSS says blanket claims, ignorance and lack of critical thinking are among the determining factors that have made the ISIS narrative appealing to Kosovo’s young. The KCSS focused primarily on 5 controversial imams that were detained on suspitions of aiding ISIS's recruitment over lectures. The report found that none of the imams directly encouraged radical Islam in Kosovo's youth, with the exception of Zeqirja Qazimi, but instead supported resurgence in the Muslim identity of Kosovo.Zeqirja Qazimi however did encourage people to join ISIS and was arrested in 2014 while hiding in a forest. He has been accused of making jihad the main subject in many of his sermons, as well as being a mentor to the notorious Kosovo ISIS fighter Lavdrim Muhaxheri.
Romania's Foreign Ministry announced that their neighbor Hungary has abandoned their blockade of Romanian admission to OECD, and will support them in their mission. At the beginning of September, Hungary threatened to block Romania’s membership over the closure of a Hungarian-language Catholic school in Romania's Transylvania region. It also separately opposed Croatia's membership over a corruption row involving Hungary's oil company MOL.Hungarian Foreign Ministry said it had reversed its stance on Romania after receiving assurance from the head of the governing Social Democratic Party that the situation at the school in Târgu Mureș would be resolved.Hungary will however continue to block Croatia's entry, with no end in sight.
A total of 456 of the 25 500 people exhumed from war graves in Bosnia and Herzegovina so far were children aged 17 and under, the Institute for Missing Persons said in a recent report.Among them were nine babies who were less than a year old at the time they died. The youngest victim to be found was a one day old newborn member of the Muhić family, who was then buried in the Srebrenica Memorial Centre in Potočari.Though technically the youngest victim was a fetus whos' bones were found inside her mother in the village of Luka. One of the people working with the institute ha
The exoneration of a man accused of the worst of crimes, genocide, made no headlines. Neither the BBC nor CNN covered it. The Guardian allowed a brief commentary. Such a rare official admission was buried or suppressed, understandably. It would explain too much about how the rulers of the world rule.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague has quietly cleared the late Serbian president, Slobodan Milosevic, of war crimes committed during the 1992-95 Bosnian war, including the massacre at Srebrenica.
Far from conspiring with the convicted Bosnian-Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, Milosevic actually “condemned ethnic cleansing”, opposed Karadzic and tried to stop the war that dismembered Yugoslavia. Buried near the end of a 2,590-page judgement on Karadzic last February, this truth further demolishes the propaganda that justified Nato’s illegal onslaught on Serbia in 1999.
Milosevic died of a heart attack in 2006, alone in his cell in The Hague, during what amounted to a bogus trial by an American-invented “international tribunal”. Denied heart surgery that might have saved his life, his condition worsened and was monitored and kept secret by US officials, as WikiLeaks has since revealed.
Milosevic was the victim of war propaganda that today runs like a torrent across our screens and newspapers and beckons great danger for us all. He was the prototype demon, vilified by the western media as the “butcher of the Balkans” who was responsible for “genocide”, especially in the secessionist Yugoslav province of Kosovo. Prime Minister Tony Blair said so, invoked the Holocaust and demanded action against “this new Hitler”.
David Scheffer, the US ambassador-at-large for war crimes [sic], declared that as many as “225,000 ethnic Albanian men aged between 14 and 59” may have been murdered by Milocevic’s forces.
This was the justification for Nato’s bombing, led by Bill Clinton and Blair, that killed hundreds of civilians in hospitals, schools, churches, parks and television studios and destroyed Serbia’s economic infrastructure. It was blatantly ideological; at a notorious “peace conference” in Rambouillet in France, Milosevic was confronted by Madeleine Albright, the US secretary of state, who was to achieve infamy with her remark that the deaths of half a million Iraqi children were “worth it”.
Albright delivered an “offer” to Milosevic that no national leader could accept. Unless he agreed to the foreign military occupation of his country, with the

Muslim Attacks on Christian Churches
Iraq: The Islamic State blew up the country's oldest Christian monastery, St. Elijah's. The 27,000-square-foot building had stood near Mosul for 14 centuries. For several years, prior to 2009, U.S. soldiers protected and sometimes used the monastery as a chapel. "Our Christian history in Mosul is being barbarically leveled," reported a Roman Catholic priest in Irbil. "We see it as an attempt to expel us from Iraq, [and] eliminating and finishing our existence in this land." Yet, when Col. Steve Warren, spokesman for America's military efforts against ISIS, was asked about the status of Christians in Iraq soon after the monastery's destruction, he replied, "We've seen no specific evidence of a specific targeting toward Christians."
Kosovo: Muslims urinated in an Orthodox Christian church in Pristina, the capital. Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic condemned the desecration of the Temple of Christ the Savior: "Urinating in a sanctuary is shameful, uncivilized, vandalism." (Last year in Italy, Muslims broke a statue of the Virgin Mary and also urinated on it.) Stojanovic added that, "The quiet observation of the demonstrators by the police, as they entered the temple and urinated is also shameful." Serbian [Christian] sanctuaries in Kosovo are constantly desecrated," the deputy prime minister said.
