Hi dear sourdough enthusiasts, this is the 7th plain sourdough loaf that I’ve baked in my life. Started baking my first during Dec 2020. I’d like to get a little feedback so I can improve :) tia !
Two loaves this am, first picture is Parmesan/roasted garlic, 2nd is plain. Used the same starter at its peak time and it didn’t have the same oven spring as the plain loaf did. Haven’t had this when I do cheddar/green chile. Could the salt in the Parmesan cheese mess with the rise? reddit.com/gallery/mhac4f
Plain Muffin Loaf tonight!
Plain and cinnamon swirl shokupan (cinnamon swirl loaf did not get baked in a proper Pullman loaf pan, sadly)
Today's loaf 🍞 super happy with the result! It's the Italian herb recipe from the Zojirushi recipe book. However, I purposely didn't add dried basil because people are making it without and loving it as their plain white bread! I'll add dried basil next time 😊
Before there was banana bread, or lemon poppy seed bread, I give you - Plain Muffin Loaf. Another of my favorite recipes from my favorite old cookbook. Not that you can tell by the state of the page. Wink wink. 💗🍞💗 reddit.com/gallery/k4z5xr

My amazing wife got inspired this weekend, turning out eight unique loaves, including “plain” sourdough, cinnamon-sugar, cold brew coffee, coffee-plain swirl, cocoa-sugar, and others. She also scored a kitty loaf for friends who just sent their beloved family cat over the rainbow bridge. reddit.com/gallery/kh1yum

“Carly Rae Jepsen secretly filmed Seal eating an entire loaf of plain bread” — Why the hell did someone dedicate a whole story post to this? You’re better than this, NME. nme.com/news/music/carly-…
First loaf from my starter. Dough caught me by surprise and looser than expected. That's fine. Just dumped it in a loaf pan. Plain bread flour. Hydration 90%+ (Totally unworkable. Will have to scale back with new starter)
My second loaf is an improvement! Still some stuff to fix, but I am glad with the result and taste. Plain+whole grain flours, rye starter, 70% hydration. reddit.com/gallery/ivzyeb
I've finally "graduated" from a bread machine and moved on to an oven! Couldn't wait for my loaf pans to arrive so here's a fluffy pillow I baked last night. Nothing fancy, just a regular plain bread loaf, but I'm so pleased with the outcome reddit.com/gallery/il5lmb
Rise on my fruit loaf is better than plain, why?
Sunday I baked my first loaf ever after more than a month getting my starter going! Pretty plain this time, but learned a lot and already have a 2nd batch rising! v.redd.it/mt9oydftunk51

Loads of references to it online, hard to find a recipe!
A week of my first sourdough starter. I'm currently making a loaf of bread with it now. The smell is amazing and I'm so pleased with it. Used plain flour where bread flour isn't readily available in the UK currently

Loaf hiding in plain sight
First time making bread. Cinnamon swirls in the background and just a plain loaf in the foreground. Looks alright but tastes bland and tough. Will keep trying to improve.
What can I do differently to get my loaf with inclusions (right) to get as much oven spring as my plain loaf (left)? Added 20% inclusion of cheese, rosemary, and garlic.

Lost track of attempts, but added whole wheat to my starter and made this loaf 50/50 whole wheat and plain, with 65% hydration and its the best oven spring I've gotten yet! Can't wait to open it up.
