I am as my username says and I recently became an Army Reservist. (chem soldier, SPC) There is a unit in Korea that I might transfer to. (I was surprised there was a unit here and my I need to take care of my mother) I am going to apply for a short English program on an education radio here in Korea as an English instructor. If I get hired, am I allowed to talk about my career as a reservist on the radio? The radio host might ask me a question. I know that there is a regulation here somewhere but not sure. I will ask first sarge when I have drill but asking reddit first hooah!
I am trying to put my Kenwood KDC-355U into my 98 Mazda Protege that I bought off a friend. My friend had an aftermarket radio, an amp and a sub installed already. I took the old radio out and switched the wires in the harness from the old radio to my new one.
After finishing all the speakers, ground and battery wires I had two leftover in the harness. One was the amp power wire which had a home on the radio. The other was an antenna power wire which I am not sure where to put on the radio. The radio has an antenna control wire but the manual says it is not used.
The really weird part is I plugged in the harness to the car wires and looked to see what the antenna power wire connected to in the car and there was no connection! There also was no connection for the amp power wire!
I am very confused. Was the amp even on before? Do I need to connect the antenna power wire? Do I need to connect the amp power wire? I have only done this once before so I could use a little advice.
When I was leaving work I heard on the radio (yes I listen to radio as I have a rule in my car for myself that I can only use my cellphone for directions) that some businesses are considering creating this role called WFH Supervisors. Essentially what these people can do is drive up to your house and check out your work from home office space. Now this isn’t what really surprised as I can see many issues with the WFH Supervisor role. The issue was the people texting into the radio station saying thinks like “Well since your home is your place of employment your job has every right to check in on you”. My favorite is the classic “Well you shouldn’t worry if you have nothing to hide” line that came up.
Honestly I don’t understand why some people don’t want the government knowing what you do in your house, but are fine with businesses coming to your door seeing what’s going on in your house.
WE BUY ANY CAR! WE BUY ANY CAR! WE BUY ANY CAR! ANY! ANY! ANY!
Holy shit I can’t reach for my car stereo volume knob fast enough when I hear this abomination.
I (17) was in the car with my parents and my younger brothers (10 an 14) when the people on the radio started talking about Inside. As a big fan I started telling my parents about it. I said how hard some songs in inside hit me. I was really enthusiastic because I thought they might play All Eyes On Me, That Funny Feeling or Welcome to the internet. My parents were curious because I was so enthusiastic and then they started playing the song.
It was sexting…
There I was sat in the car with my parents and brothers while I told them how deep his songs were. It was an awkward ride.
It included direct disses towards Drake, talking about the group chat message and Sicko Mode. The song was unreleased so I'm assuming he got a leak from Kanye's camp.
Drake lines in the song:
"That Sicko Mode was his biggest song but gone cause Donda was the best ghostwriter I ever had"
"I put Virgil and Drake on the same text, and it wasn't about the matching arcteryx or Kid Cudi dress, just told these grown men stop it with the funny shit, I might hire the whole team from ACG"
"(?) We was the new Abu Dhabi, told Drake don't play with me on GD and he sent that message to everybody, so if I hit you with a wyd, you better hit me with a yes sir I'm writing everything you need, I told you I was gonna take the summer back, so any of the cap won't take none of that"
My band was played on the radio for the first time and I'm ecstatic! We were on DKFM "The Shoegaze Collective" and I couldn't be happier! A huge life goal for me accomplished. It only makes it better that none of us even went to them - they approached us and let us know they were going to play one of our songs! It was so surreal to hear a song that we recorded and mixed in a bedroom on GarageBand play on the fucking radio!
I’m so sick of this shit. Waiting to pick us my food and scanning through radio to arrive at whatever the fuck this is.
Opt out of the healthcare system if you want to spread this shit. Stop wasting everyone else’s time and money.
Fuck the high prices, this is the real travesty. How dare they start this early
The eBay "Buy a thing, sell a thing" advert is doing my head in to the point where I have to mute the TV whenever it is on.
McDonalds have a new advert with Mabel butchering Time After Time, so that will probably grate on me soon enough.
Since I started playing FH5 I have heard them all, even more than once and I find it a bit annoying
"ATC telephone this is Reddit User idonthavemoney"...?
I was checking the Nash residence for Ed-E and heard Big Iron playing. Decided what the hell, cranked the radio all the way up, and headed to Nipton. And oh my God. When I say clearing the NCRCF while listening to Johnny Guitar was therapeutic I really mean it. I get it now. I understand why the soundtrack for New Vegas is so hype now. I never knew what I was missing. Having said that remember: You're not someone until somebody loves you. And that's me. I love you.
