A βshort squeezeβ due to a sudden increase in demand for shares of our Class A Common Stock that largely exceeds supply has led to, and may continue to lead to, extreme price volatility in shares of our Class A Common Stock.
Investors may purchase shares of our Class A Common Stock to hedge existing exposure or to speculate on the price of our Class A Common Stock. Speculation on the price of our Class A Common Stock may involve long and short exposures. To the extent aggregate short exposure exceeds the number of shares of our Class A Common Stock available for purchase on the open market, investors with short exposure may have to pay a premium to repurchase shares of our Class A Common Stock for delivery to lenders of our Class A Common Stock. Those repurchases may in turn, dramatically increase the price of shares of our Class A Common Stock until additional shares of our Class A Common Stock are available for trading or borrowing. This is often referred to as a βshort squeeze.β
EDIT - KEY TAKEAWAYS FOR ME.
They recognise that
- shorting is over 100% of float
- It is continuing
- Shorts should expect to return to lenders - potentially paving way for a catalyst regarding shareholding meeting, voting, special dividend or other intervention forcing return to lenders
I myself included.
From a young age we are literally taught not to question authority, to sit quiet and not ask questions - which is like great for creating workers, but terrible for members of a democracy.
I considered myself a super-duper smart man, but for a long time, I really didn't know how to think critically. I would know the who, what, where, when, and how (which is like 20% of the thought process).
The why however (the other 80%) - was always underdeveloped as even though I thought I knew concepts, I had trouble linking them and synthesizing new opinions of my own.
Too many of us hear an opinion, choose it as our own, and defend it without objectively trying to understand why we do so. And how it connects to our other opinions for that matter (does it conflict, disprove, support, etc.)
I really think critical thinking should be as mandatory as English or Math on it's own.
Edit: some people were offended by my 'above average' intelligence comment so I changed it for clarity
I thought the pointless SUV was bad, but these things are ridiculous.
An infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar
The first mathematician orders a beer
The second orders half a beer
"I don't serve half-beers" the bartender replies
"Excuse me?" Asks mathematician #2
"What kind of bar serves half-beers?" The bartender remarks. "That's ridiculous."
"Oh c'mon" says mathematician #1 "do you know how hard it is to collect an infinite number of us? Just play along"
"There are very strict laws on how I can serve drinks. I couldn't serve you half a beer even if I wanted to."
"But that's not a problem" mathematician #3 chimes in "at the end of the joke you serve us a whole number of beers. You see, when you take the sum of a continuously halving function-"
"I know how limits work" interjects the bartenderΒ "Oh, alright then. I didn't want to assume a bartender would be familiar with such advanced mathematics"
"Are you kidding me?" The bartender replies, "you learn limits in like, 9th grade! What kind of mathematician thinks limits are advanced mathematics?"
"HE'S ON TO US" mathematician #1 screeches
Simultaneously, every mathematician opens their mouth and out pours a cloud of multicolored mosquitoes. Each mathematician is bellowing insects of a different shade.Β The mosquitoes form into a singular, polychromatic swarm. "FOOLS" it booms in unison, "I WILL INFECT EVERY BEING ON THIS PATHETIC PLANET WITH MALARIA"
The bartender stands fearless against the technicolor hoard. "But wait" he inturrupts, thinking fast, "if you do that, politicians will use the catastrophe as an excuse to implement free healthcare. Think of how much that will hurt the taxpayers!"
The mosquitoes fall silent for a brief moment. "My God, you're right. We didn't think about the economy! Very well, we will not attack this dimension. FOR THE TAXPAYERS!" and with that, they vanish.
A nearby barfly stumbles over to the bartender. "How did you know that that would work?"
"It's simple really" the bartender says. "I saw that the vectors formed a gradient, and therefore must be conservative."
I took my sister to the emergency last week and the doctor who looked after her was competent and polite. It was a good experience and nothing out of the ordinary happened until a few days later when I got a text from him asking me on a date.
The thing is, I never gave him my number. We didnβt even flirt, in fact our interactions were minimal. I donβt have my number available online anywhere, so the only reasonable explanation is that he looked through my private file in order to get my number.
I told my friends about it and got mixed opinions. Some of them, mainly the guys, told me to just say no and forget it, and that I shouldnβt over react and report said doctor for merely βshooting his shotβ.
Thankfully, I decided to report him anyway. I made a formal complaint and told my parents about it. Since one of the hospital owners is a family friend, I also forwarded him my report along with a screenshot from the convo.
Well, Ive just been informed that he was fired. Turns out this doctor isnβt a first time offender and is constantly bothering the female staff. Had I chosen to ignore it, he wouldβve carry on harassing his patients.
I feel silly for even contemplating the idea of not reporting him. Donβt let your friends gaslight you and speak up every time you feel uncomfortable with something.
EDIT: Thank you everyone for the awards and the encouraging messages!
Even though I knew that this doctorβs actions were ethically and legally wrong, I hesitated to report. Even though there would be no major consequences to my life if I filed a complaint, I hesitated. Even though I had a support system who wouldβve believed in me, I hesitated. My heart aches for all the woman who sent me messages asking for advice on how to deal with harassment from coworkers, family friends, clients etc... whatever decision you girls make will have stronger consequences to your daily life than mine did. I hope you find the strength to make your voices heard.
Make sure everyone in this sub sees this.
EDIT : Why you can't make any reasonable assessments from chart or volume? Because they can trade @ 4 decimal points while retail can only trade at 2 decimal points.
So if there are 14 million shares traded today and if they are selling each share among themselves at a loss of $0.0001 cent to drive the price down then it will just cost then $1400 for that manipulation. This is without taking into other buy orders and sell orders. Just an example. So in the short term it can look like they are winning, but reality could be different. If you are in doubt zoom out.
This is not a financial advise.
Because apes keep asking and saying that 1k, 100k, 500k, 2m, 10m, 20m is impossible, I've decided to help people out with learning how to use Geometric Mean. This lets us estimate the price per share as people jump off at different points on the way up, which is expected, everyone has a different price point, just as different sell points are expressed.
Geometric mean is basically an average of numbers that have exponential growth. For Apespeak, Bananas that grows more bananas as you eat them. You take the Max share price you expect, and then the current shareprice, and you calculate the Geometric Mean. This article explains it better than I can, I just am a retarded ape that loves crayons with colors out of space.

For argument's sake, we are going to use 150% short, so 75 million shares that need to be covered. The numbers below are the peak Price per Share, Total Payout of GME, and overall price per share for the payout. So without Further ado
1k per share price total payout would be $33,525,000,000 @ 447 per share (Geometric Mean)
5k per share price total payout would be $75,000,000,000 @ 1000 per share (Geometric Mean)
10k per share price total payout would be $106,050,000,000 @ 1414 per share (Geometric Mean)
42k per share price total payout would be $217,350,000,000 @ 2898 per share (Geometric Mean)
69k per share price total payout would be $278,550,000,000 @ 3714 per share (Geometric Mean)
100k per share price total payout would be $335,400,000,000 @ 4472 per share (Geometric Mean)
500k per share price total payout would be $750,000,000,000 @ 10000 per share (Geometric Mean)
1m per share price total payout would be $1,060,650,000,000 @ 14142 per share (Geometric Mean)
2m per share price total payout would be $1,500,000,000,000 @ 20000 per share (Geometric Mean)
20m per share price total payout would be $4,743,375,000,000 @ 63245 per share (Geometric Mean)
TLDR: In summation, its really not as much as a payout as you think, regardless of its Peak. So you might say "Hey wait! X price is too damn much! We'd bleed the world dry and awaken Elder gods!" And I say, "Nay fair Ape, you'd only cause Azathoth to roll over. There will still be a world left to enjoy your tendies. Even at 20 mill per share."

Hey 'Tards,
The New Failure to deliver data is JUST OUT from the SEC. Here is a simple pivot table. It's still failing to deliver EVERY DAY. I'm sure people will analyze this better than me. But I wanted to get this out to everyone ASAP.
Edit: Failure to deliver is how many shares were not accounted for at the end of the day. GME has been failing to deliver in some capacity for weeks now. This data is posted by the SEC Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). It is only posted every two weeks, for the previous two weeks. But this is the most recent data that everyone has been waiting on.
From the SEC regarding this data
>"The figure is not a daily amount of fails, but a combined figure that includes both new fails on the reporting day as well as existing fails. In other words, these numbers reflect aggregate fails as of a specific point in time, and may have little or no relationship to yesterday's aggregate fails."
SEC FOIA Site: https://www.sec.gov/data/foiadocsfailsdatahtm
Data File: https://www.sec.gov/files/data/fails-deliver-data/cnsfails202101b.zip
GME had 2 million shares failed to deliver one day totaling 300 million $

EDIT: Because so many people are bringing up XRT. Which contains a lot of GME. Here is XRT. Hmmm. Notice anything interesting about Jan29th between these two??

There is also AMC... AMC is still failing to deliver EVERY DAY. This continues the trend for both of these stocks not being delivered every day. AMC had 27 million... yes million shares failed to deliver.

I'd like to ask everyone to do what they can. I am not recommending buying any of these stocks. But there is for sure, something still going on. We need to try and get this data daily. Contact your reps, etc.

... keep reading on reddit β‘As of 12am on March 1st KST Spotify saw huge number of KPop songs go inactive/can't be played. So far there are reports of this from US, CA, UK, DE so I assume it's world wide. The link seems to be everything licensed by/to Kakao M (who own Melon). Spotify recently launched in Korea without their catalog so I assume this is related to that problem: https://hypebae.com/2021/2/spotify-korea-launch-without-iu-zico-monsta-x-kakao-m-k-pop-music-streaming-service-info.
I'm not going to list the artists as I'm sure at least hundreds have been impacted, here are some examples using IU's discography: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/luigtf/spotify_removes_a_huge_number_of_kpop_tracks/gp6i0lu/
To be clear this is going to have a huge impact on tons and tons of artists, many labels and artists would use Kakao M as their distributor.
It seems like as a general rule things released by SM, YG, JYP, and BH are fine, but anything from a smaller label has a good chance of being gone. But this is a general rule as licensing can be complicated: GFriend's discography is mostly gone because Source distributed through Kakao M not Big hit.
Also please don't rush to blame Spotify. It's hard to say who is at fault for this particular decision but Kakao M certainly blocked Spotify from getting their songs in Korea to limit competition with Melon. If you're a subscriber please contact Spotify and let them know you want this music, but realize they may not be able to do anything.
Here is a list (thread) on twitter of artists with removals but keep in mind this is going to be very much incomplete, so many artists were hit by this - https://twitter.com/lemonphobic/status/1366048808220639234
If you have Spotify playlists you can see what songs were removed by turning on "Show unavailable songs in playlists" under display options in the settings menu.
Note: I've made a few edits here, this comment is also worth checking out: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/luigtf/spotify_removes_a_huge_number_of_kpop_tracks/gp6skgk/
12:50 pm KST update: Spotify https://www.soompi.com/article/1456872wpp/spotify-officially-explains-why-hundreds-of-k-pop-releases-were-removed-from-platform-worldwide and Kakao M https://twitter.com/tmikpop/status/1366233681820585987 have now both made statements.
2:00 pm KST update: P-Nation seems to have reuploaded some songs that were taken down under their own copyright. May see some other labels also able to do this - https://www.reddit.com/r/k
... keep reading on reddit β‘Disclaimer; this happened a few months ago.
A few months ago I had a one off date with a girl in the city and we met at a bar. The bar was prepay so you had to download their app and then look up their menu on the app and then order and then enter your credit card details to pay.
Basically, when it came to pay I didn't realise it was like this and I had trouble downloading the app so she handed me her phone and told me to enter my details on her app which I did without even thinking about it.
I never saw her again but I checked through my credit card statement today and found out for the past two months there have been regular deductions at that bar from my card. I had no idea what happened so I got all stressed until I realised... when I entered my details on her phone app it must have saved them and every time she has gone back to that bar I was getting charged for her drinks.
I don't think she is legit trying to scam me, I think more than likely she didn't even realise, but I called up the bank and stopped the card and embarrassedly explained to them what happened, and got lectured like a five year old about how foolish I had been. I know, I know, I messed up bad.
At the very least all her purchases combined are only a few hundred dollars so even though it is annoying it won't break the bank... but long story short - never ever enter your details on someone else's phone, and shame on the bar for not allowing people to pay the traditional way!
tl;dr went out on a date to a prepay bar, had trouble downloading the app to pay so I entered my details on my dates phone app, she then purchased lots of things using the details
Honestly, I don't really mind pumping coins, particularly joke coins like Doge. But if I see another post from someone saying "but what if Doge is the next Bitcoin" I think I'll crack!
You can only pump a coin like Doge so far! I'm seeing people saying "what if it gets to $100 or even $1000?". Do they have any idea how many of these coins are in circulation?!
Part of the whole joke of Doge was its rediculous supply cap and real terms inflation, with literally billions of new coins being generated annually. You can only sustain the upwards trajectory of something like that for so long...
If you're a newbie playing with Doge, these is a huge chance your going to lose next to everything. The actual coin is designed to lose "value", the fundamental function of the coin is actively working against you!
https://www.sec.gov/data/foiadocsfailsdatahtm - first text file, search "GME", and you'll see the fails to deliver suggesting a real number in the millions, unheard of - these are purchased shares that couldn't be found. I have no idea how this simple metric isn't widely reported.
Hedge funds get paid more by fraudulently creating more shares when the stock goes under. They cannot cover anywhere near this price level because the shares don't exist. Manipulating the number of shares also dilutes the reported short float. Retail is holding on to shares they need and just not letting go, as some of those shares retail has are fraudulent. By the time they run out of money in interest payments dragging this out, it'll be a massive shitshow.

:edit: 84 GME @ $87.16 avg.
:edit 2: Please note one reason prices are still high is to encourage retail go to other stocks (looking at you AMC, BB, NOK), or get more easily duped by some scam like silver. It's always been about GME.
When it comes time for them to pay up, expect the price to drop first.
:edit 3: The price is now around where the volume dropped off. I think we're at the bottom, as long as we hold. I think the chance of seeing big upword moves is as high as its ever been. Unless they want us to sit here for a day. It's all very expensive psychology for them.
