Will you read a book knowing you will not like it? Will you watch a movie knowing you will not like it? Will you watchTV ads if thats irritating to you? Can’t you decide what suits you? Can’t you switch when you have to? If you can’t, you’re mentally unstable.
Artist freedom is the freedom of imagination. If something is disturbing/influencing evil to the audience it’ll be taken away legally by a board of members associated and dedicated to the field.
Stop harassing the creators by sitting in front a computer in an armchair doing nothing. Stop teaching actors what movies they should choose and not. Stop dictating the authors who has a clear perspective towards their content.
Nobody has the right to dictate what to do and what not to do unless they wanted you to interfere. If a mob dictates who should speak and what should write, then those who believe in democracy should oppose it outright. What is the difference between not eating beef and this?
Fascism must be resisted in any form. This is becoming a trend picked up by everyone from left, right and centre without knowing the consequences.

There's a little bit of a ruckus in Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka over Murali and his biographical film. Some people in Tamil Nadu want to boycott it and are urging Vijay Sethupathi to drop the role. Some Sri Lankans have taken serious personal offence to it. Just wondering what your opinions are?
