April is PSLV buying month that will surely break the comex back. Secure your wealth before its to late. Buy silver
            More than just a movement

Sorry for the long post I thought this would be an important post so people can realize the importance of this.

Silver and the importance of this shinny metal. The metal that everyone wants and the corruption that is attached to it. Manipulation, deceit big corporations that look to make more money for there bottom line. They will do the unethical to get there way. Fortunately people are finally fed up with this way of doing business. We are realizing this more every day that this isnt just a metal this is a movement to stand up against the manipulators, which has lasted for years. The true importance it has in society, industry and for monetary value not to mention the need for change and change drastically to discourage these large banks and hedge funds to stop this. Let people decide what the true value of silver is as well as the rest of the metals.

Silver is so important for the next decade, we need to continue to keep buying and holding. I did a little research and stumbled upon the many uses of silver and its properties and was amazed of things it is used for.

So this is why everyone in the industry wants it, needs it and they know it. The panic will start when they know there has started and will be a shortage. This will affect a lot of manufacturing.

  1. Silver sulfadiazine used as a topical cream to treat burns. It made WHO’s list of essential medicines, as an anti-infective medicine.

  2. Treatment of warts and corns usually in the form of a caustic pencil. The silver compound silver nitrate, is widely used, and is formed by reacting silver with nitric acid.

  3. SilverCoat Foley catheters are used in urology to prevent urinary tract infections from catheter use. Canadian company Covalon is pushing the boundaries on medical technologies that saves lives. This SilverCoat technology is one of them.

  4. Use in Radiology, silver halides are still being used in conventional x-ray film as an image receptor. Many third-world countries that don’t have access to advanced technology use this type of x-ray.

  5. Silver is used in bandages and dressings to prevent the spread of infection. There is also many uses as gels and ointments for minor scrapes and cuts.

  6. Surgical mesh. 3D Silver mesh to aid in support the organs or tissues during surgery. Loosely woven sheets made of either 3D gold or 3D silver.

  7. Conjunctivitis drops for newborn babies. Silver nitrate has been used for a long time as d

My favourite events from each Cosmere book I have read

I know there are too many scenes and dialogues in each cosmere to include, and I would like to include them all, so I selected one from each book I have read till now, in order of my reading.

  • Way of Kings

>I will protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Kaladin's second oath, and subsequent Battle of the Tower constitute what I feel is the best scene in WoK. We see full radiant powers, Kaladin's last flashback with Tien, Kaladin's meeting with Dalinar and Adolin, and an amazing battle in itself.

  • Words of Radiance

>Honor is dead, but I'll see what I can do about it.

Need I say more? An epic 2 v 4 completely lopsided duel that sees Kaladin and Adolin team up bash the Braize out of 4 full shardbearers!

  • Oathbringer

>You cannot have my pain!

The entire last chapter is one of the best in the series, cumulating in ten knight radiants facing down an army of Singers and Sadeases

  • Rhythm of war

>He would save them all

The brutal twist at the end of RoW that few expected. This sets up a major new villain that is set to last, and might set the cosmere to blazes. Taravangian's Ascension and Rayse's death is the best twist of the series for me.

  • Final Empire

>I am hope

Kelsier's death is, almost ironically, the best scene in the first Mistborn book for me, a twist out of nowhere. Killing off the main protagonist so shockingly makes this something you have to read at least twice for it to sink in.

  • Well of Ascension

>?

Vin and Zane killing an entire army of inside a keep without a scratch is the best scene in this book. While I don't remember the name of the Lord she almost kills, or a quote from that scene, it is filled with horror and excitement, making you whoop and cry over it together.

  • Hero of Ages

>I am, unfortunately, the Hero of Ages.

Sazed's unexpected Ascension, coming right after vin and elend's deaths. We get a new Shard Harmony, and the man with no God became God.

  • Secret History

>I named you Spook. [...] Isn't that enough?

For some reason, of all things, Kelsier's interaction with Spook sticks with me. Maybe it is just the emotions coming back up after HoA, but this scene makes the list.

  • Alloy of Law

>Everything Wayne

Basically everything Wayne.

  • Shadows of Self

>He had killed her. Again.

Paraphrasing here. This scene just hits hard, revelations rolling upon us like an avalanche. Perhaps for the first time ever, I felt te

Update 29.10.0: Corpus Proxima & The New Railjack

27b022679646e8762c8d627b890f0987.png

Corpus Railjack has arrived, Tenno. As we continue down our “ship what we’ve shown” path, we’ve finally arrived at Corpus Proxima! While reviewing the current state of Railjack as we worked on Corpus Proxima, we knew we needed to rework what we had in addition to adding new content. Introducing: Railjack Retrofit! Our initial 2019 Empyrean venture was a daring leap into space, but as we aimed for Lua there were some missteps. Our initial vision to provide a fresh new gameplay experience progressed into being overly complicated with an unnecessarily high barrier to entry. This Corpus Proxima & The New Railjack Update aims to simplify the Railjack experience for new and returning players. We encourage you to take your time as you dive back in - a lot has changed! And if you’re new to Railjack, welcome. It’s the perfect time to start.

As you’ve probably guessed, Corpus Proxima & The New Railjack is a Mainline Update! In usual Mainline fashion, some unreleased things may slip through the cracks and potentially cause some bumps. Please let us know if you spot anything by reporting in our threads!

You’ll be able to report feedback (or bugs) here:

<https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1253287-update-29100-bug-hunting-megathread-read-first-post/>

Or, take a birds-eye-view look in our new Update board: <https://trello.com/b/K34ACrAu/pc-update-29100-bug-feedback-tracking>

The Corpus Railjack Update is here! This Update brings you a full Corpus Railjack experience with brand new regions and Points of Interest to explore.

New Corpus Proxima Regions

Robots and Crewmen are taking to the skies and have greatly expanded the Proxima Star Chart - three new planets (Venus, Neptune and Pluto Proxima) will introduce new enemies, new Points of Interest and more. There will also be the most difficult missions for Corpus Railjack added to the Veil Proxima.

ULTIMATE WHO MAKES THE BEST GUIDE

Hello everyone!

With the large influx of new people to the subreddit, I have attempted to answer the question "Who makes the best ________?" of many of the popular models that you can currently buy from a TD. If you want piles of discontinued models that you can only look ar in pictures or dreams, the NWBIG list has plenty of those.

I have organized each brand according to their catalog families. For example, Rolex is categorized by "Classic" and "Professional" models. There are still several brands that need to be built out and I will continue to regularly update this as new releases are made over time.

If you are on a desktop or mobile browser, you can use Ctrl + F (Find) to search the post by reference number or name. I’ve also linked the applicable buying guides that I could find for some models.

For anyone that sees a "Who makes the best ________?" post, please link them to this post first so that we can cut down the number of those posts on the subreddit. I love this community. Thank you all for being a part of it!

The “Best” Watches Guide

Rolex – Classic

Day-Date 40 (All Permutations)

- GMF: Factory is related to BPF. Similar in appearance but uses 904L steel. An expensive and useless variant because the Day-Date has never been made with 904L steel. Most variants of the rep are coated in a gold alloy and the steel cannot be seen.

Each Zodiac Sign's Best Exotic Weapon

Hello guardians, my name is u/pandapaxxy here with another breakdown. If you're new to this. Let me give you a quick quick rundown. Each zodiac sign will have one singular weapon to its name. I have determined that this is the absolute best weapon for this specific zodiac sign. There will be no disputes. A lot of research went into this. I am extremely confident in my choices.

Link to my past breakdown can be found here.

And my spreadsheet can be found here.

Let’s not waste any time discussing the most important breakdown to date. What exotic weapon is best for each zodiac sign.

Ace of Spades - Kinetic Hand Cannon

Zodiac: Aries

  • Rate of Fire: 140
  • Impact: 84
  • Range: 78
  • Stability: 46
  • Handling: 46
  • Reload Speed: 46
  • Mag size: 13
  • Aim Assist: 70
  • Recoil Direction: 100

Roll: > Memento Mori / Corkscrew Rifling / High-Caliber Rounds / Firefly / Smooth Grip

Aries are the most independent of the zodiac signs. Ace encompasses that because who needs a team?

Sweet Business - Kinetic Auto Rifle

Zodiac: Taurus

  • Rate of Fire: 360
  • Impact: 18
  • Range: 37
  • Stability: 46
  • Handling: 10
  • Reload Speed: 10
  • Mag size: 99
  • Aim Assist: 80
  • Recoil Direction: 100

Roll: > Payday / Polygonal Rifling / Armor-Piercing Rounds / Business Time / Composite Stock

Taurus are the anchors of the zodiac. Which means in Destiny y’all are the anchors of your team. Sweet Business goes brrr and you won’t even have to move.

Skyburner’s Oath - Solar Scout Rifle

Zodiac: Gemini

  • Rate of Fire: 200
  • Impact: 60
  • Range: 46
  • Stability: 55
  • Handling: 64
  • Reload Speed: 55
  • Mag size: 15
  • Aim Assist: 90
  • Recoil Direction: 100

Roll: > Slug Rifle / Extended Barrel / Extended Mag / For the Empire / Short-Action Stock

The Duality of Gemini means you love leading the pack as the lord of wolves. You really like messing up the Devil’s Ruin with how Tarrabah you are in Destiny. Fly through your enemies like a Two-Tailed Fox. It’s Skyburner’s Oath. That’s your favorite. Period.

AE Finds ✨ GET IN HERE

I am an AliExpress hoe.

Since they are having a sale, I figured it was only right that a post was made. In the survey, I noticed a lot of you like to see stuff like this (I know I do!) and I hope you find this useful to fuel your shopping addiction. I mean... huh. Can't think of anything else besides that word.

The Backstory

I first started buying off of wish.com when I met a girl on a beach in Hawaii wearing a $5 1-piece swimsuit and couldn't believe how much she paid for it. From there, I naturally found AE and started to take small chances on trendy little accessory items.. a necklace, headbands, you name it. I bought it.

I began to find that most of the stuff I was purchasing was pretty legit. In fact, I thought, it was most likely the same things they were selling at local boutiques, forever 21 (once upon a time as a poor college student). I got better and better at curating items that I ordered. With my most expensive purchase to date, a "Balmain" blazer weighing in at $140, I knew AE and I had now joined in a beautiful, ceremonious relationship together. I would never NOT shop on this site, I decided. Having people ask you where you bought X & telling them ALIEXPRESS causes such a fun reaction. Especially when you are rocking Chanel.

I have purchased gym clothing, jewelry, street fashion, shoes... basically all items from this website. I want to give back to this wonderful community and share some of my favorite purchases as of late/to date.

You guys are my super saving sisters and I am so grateful to have found you.

F retail.

Now onto the finds. Please note, I have personally purchased all of the items on this list and can attest to the quality.

For your reference, here are my measurements: 5'8" / 120LBS. Lean. Fake boobs.

UNDERWEAR // My favorite store (yes, I went there with this purchase)

High Waist Sport Shorts - Size L - Cute for wearing under dresses in the summer. for when you bend over for a child, or maybe you just spilled your single-life drink.

Part 4: CES Letter Book of Mormon Questions [Section B]

Entries in this series: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9

As always, before we begin, please remember which sub you’re in. Visitors are welcome, but they still need to follow the rules of the sub while they’re here. These posts are meant to generate conversation between believing members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They are not discussions for hearing every point of view under the sun. If you wish to discuss these matters elsewhere, by all means, please do so. But comments that violate the sub’s rules will be removed and those conversations will not be entertained here. Our sub members are not looking for debates over their beliefs. They get plenty of that elsewhere. While they’re here, they want to be uplifted and to discuss the Gospel positively with their fellow Saints. Please grant them that courtesy while you’re in their space. Thank you.

So, with that out of the way, let’s jump back in, shall we?

> DNA analysis has concluded that Native American Indians do not originate from the Middle East or from Israelites but rather from Asia. Why did the Church change the following section of the introduction page in the 2006 edition Book of Mormon, shortly after the DNA results were released?

It’s always confused me why this is an issue, and I’ll explain why. We don’t have any idea what Jaredite DNA would have looked like. We don’t know where they came from, who they mixed with along their journey, or where they ended up, or if any of that DNA spread to existing populations. We don’t have any idea what Sariah’s lineage was, or Zoram’s, or Ishmael’s wife’s. A

Everything Is Poison!

The day I landed on Earth, I weighed in at 203.7 kilograms. Now, srihassas are a big species to begin with, but even by our standards I was about 80 kilos overweight. I was shedding about twice as often as normal, my scales were taking on this weird pinkish hue, and my crueler clutch-kin were calling me “butt back” after the way my fat was creating a crease all the way up my spine. My doctor was begging me to change my lifestyle or I’d be dead within two decades. I’d tried to go in for operations, but even for a species already vulnerable to sedatives I’m unusually sensitive; my last attempt technically killed me for twenty seconds.

So when I tell you that Earth saved my life, it’s not an exaggeration.

Now, most of you must be thinking by now, “Wait, Earth? Home to humans, the species that’ll find a way to eat your shoes if you dared them to? The guys who literally drink rotten juice every weekend for fun and pesticide every morning to stay awake? That planet?” Yep. The very same. I know it seems counter-intuitive, after all, humans aren’t particularly health conscious, at least no more so than others. But the people who eat everything were the folks that helped me curb my own habits.

I was sent to Earth to oversee revamping their shipyards; this was back when they were newly inducted into the Confederation and were still modernizing. My boss warned me that it was a restricting place, but I thought he meant it was dictatorial in nature and shrugged it off. I’d done work with the Vaarkast Empire, how bad could it be? By the Seventh’s spines I should’ve done my homework. See, here’s the thing about humans eating everything: that also means they include food that you CAN’T eat. And I don’t mean things like it just being awkward tip-toeing your way around a vegetarian diet, ooooh no.

I mean to say that almost everything that humans eat is poisonous to other species. Everything. First day there my new coworkers tried to take me out for lunch to a Mexican restaurant, a type of cultural cuisine; the only thing on the menu that wouldn’t kill me was a salad. Even then I had to take the tomatoes off. I don’t think it dawned on me until that point just how omnivorous humans are, emphasis on the OMNI. Half their fruit is poisonous. They eat fungus, ALL of which is poisonous to other species. I went to get some shellfish for a Korkovan-style boil, nope those are poisonous. I went drinking with them just to see what it was like, only to have

Hot-swappable keyboards thread

Just as I tried to post this for like the 10th time, I found out there was already a thread that had comprised a list of hot-swap keyboards. I guess the time spent doing this was in vain ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oh well

Like a week ago, I was in the market for a hotswap mechanical keyboard, and I was just overwhelmed by the amount of options there were. There also weren’t many lists/threads on what options existed, so I decided to do the research and find a board that I like (Hotswap + cherry mx silent reds + backlit of any kind so it would be semi visible in the dark – AFAIK cherry doesn’t make clear case silent red switches so that isn’t possible)

This list is very much a work in progress (WIP) thread. I probably missed a whole ton of keyboards so please be kind and point that out in the comments, I will try to add them ASAP. Same goes if a keyboard has been known to be faulty.

This list contains keyboards that have hot-swap sockets:

Basically the entire Keychron lineup ( K2 (Hot-Swappable) / K3 / K4 / K6 / K8 / K12 (To be released) / C1 / C2 ) (check the keyboard’s description before buying to be certain)

Drop ALT / Drop CTRL / Drop SHIFT

Logitech G Pro X

GMMK (100%, TKL & 60% available)

Top 100 most played Metroidvanias (and some related games) on Steam this month

Using steamcharts.com I compiled a list of 100 Metroidvanias by how many daily players they drew on average over the last 30 days. Note that I have not played every single one of them and there is bound to be some discussion about whether a certain game is a Metroidvania or not. Therefore some games are included because they get mentioned here, are tagged as Metroidvania or were reviewed by metroidvaniareview.com. And finally also because I wanted this list to be 100 games long and that would not be possible if I stuck to the ones I was 100% certain of.

Needless to say, if you have any suggestions for inclusions let me know in the comments. What I hope to show by this list is just how insanely popular Hollow Knight (and Ori) are compared to other Metroidvanias. At least on Steam.

Note: I know that the USA (and perhaps others) would put a '.' instead of a ',' and vice-versa but I hope you can interpret it nonetheless.

Edit: It would be cool if you could point out titles that you feel should definitely be removed. Then I can replace those one future lists.

  1. Hollow Knight – 5.853,1
  2. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – 3.432,4
  3. Ori and the Will of the Wisps – 2.221,8
  4. Dead Cells – 2.011,0
  5. Ori and the Blind Forest – 1.143,8
  6. Monster Sanctuary – 624,7
  7. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – 529,1
  8. Blasphemous – around 400 (steamcharts bugged out so had to estimate using steamspy.com)
  9. Salt and Sanctuary – 235,6
  10. INSIDE – 182,2
  11. Rogue Legacy 2 – 149,5
  12. CARRION – 140,4
  13. Supraland – 102,5
  14. Rogue Legacy – 98,8
  15. Rain World – 93,2
  16. Vigil: The Longest Night – 92,9
  17. Rabi-Ribi – 89,1
  18. The Messenger – 76,0
  19. Touhou Luna Nights – 64,8
  20. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – 40,1
  21. UnEpic – 38,8
  22. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom – 38,5
  23. Reventure – 37,5
  24. Guacamelee! – 34,2
  25. Sundered – 32,8
  26. Iconoclasts – 31,6
  27. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 – 28,9
  28. Guacamelee! 2 – 27,8
  29. Death’s Gambit – 26,3
  30. Axiom Verge – 25,9

A lonely impulse of delight…

The ship could be described as a ‘ramshackle death trap’ only if you were feeling especially generous. It had once been an evacuation pod belonging to some old Terullian freighter; designed to carry at most four crew members away from disaster; limited FTL capacity; life support for about a Charn or two. A craft of last resort you would only ever use in an emergency.

But now? The original engine had been gutted out and retrofitted with a new one he could not identify; two extra sections had been welded onto the side of the craft; a ‘window’ had been carved into it, near the nose (with an FTL screen crudely placed next to it), and its heat signature suggested a score of internal changes had also been done.

The sleek perfection of its original design now replaced by a hard-botched series of additions that every part of him felt was designed to kill whomever was on it.

Chen blinked as the thing moved into the designated position near their orbital station. He was partly impressed it had not imploded to even get here. Next to him, the older member of his species, Hufra, seems to view the ship with utter indifference. Quietly, Hufra growls into the communicator/translator.

“This is Wendia Orbital Station. State your name and intention?”

A few moments pass and across the speakers the translated words are broadcast.

This is The Wanderer, out of Europa; I’m Captain Graves. Hoping for permission to land upon Wendia

“How long do you intend to stay, Wanderer?”

Requesting for maximum stay- twenty rotations. Will probably be less.

“Alright Wanderer. Did you bring any lifeforms which could survive unaided on Wendia?”

Negative Wendia Station, it’s me and myself.

“Understood Wanderer,” says Hufra, sounding mostly bored, “you have permission to land upon Wendia and remain for a duration no greater than twenty rotations. Please confirm your location with Orbital Station when you down engines.”

Will do Wendia Station. Er… how long until the storm hits?

Hufra allows a small smile to cross his features and says quietly, “Relax Wanderer; the front is still within polar regions; you have about two human hours before it hits.”

There was silence and then Thank you Wendia station. Mighty glad to hear that. Will confirm location when engines-down. This is Wanderer, out

Azur Lane Naval Operations Command - KANSEN

OVERVIEW

Since their introduction to the battlefields of the world 3 decades ago during the Great War of 2214 - 2218, the KANSEN have represented the single greatest unexpected evolution in both naval and infantry warfare since the development of mass-produced powered armor in the late 21st century.

Despite the significant advancements made in transhumanity’s understanding about the KANSEN, much still remains unknown for certain with regards to their nature.

What is known is that despite their appearance, the KANSEN have a number of differences from Homo sapiens and Homo sapiens augmentum.

These differences have been significant enough to warrant KANSEN their own scientific designation - that of Sophont Maritime Entities (SME).

Colloquially, however, most individuals are content to refer to KANSEN simply as “shipgirls”.

Their potency and impact upon operational theaters of war cannot be understated. No combination of operators and weapons platforms in transhuman history has yet matched the sheer power projection, durability and mobility of a KANSEN.

Aside from other shipgirls themselves, only massed numbers of naval assets and orbital weaponry has been projected to be capable of stopping fully active shipgirls, and so far, the Azur Lane is unwilling to test that in practice.

BIOLOGY

The foundation of every KANSEN is the Wisdom Cube, an ontological anchor taking the form of a cube created from quantum-engineered crystal. Though its exact material composition still defies the best investigative attempts of current technology, the basic molecular structure of Wisdom Cubes is noted to bear a faint resemblance to transhuman optronics, though orders of magnitude more complex.

Naval specialists have referred to the Wisdom Cubes as both the heart and brain of a KANSEN, and that is sufficiently accurate for practical purposes. It is simultaneously the operational power core of every KANSEN as well as their main Ego E

Ceobe's Fungimist Relic Compilation (With Flavor Text)

So, with Integrated Strategies completely closing in a day, I decided I'm going to do this, both for myself and for those lore hounds/flavor text junkies who either want an organized list or who didn't get a chance to unlock/look at everything before the event fully closes. I've looked around, and sites do have relic lists for the effects they provide, but not with the flavor text, a lot of which are just fluff but some of which are amusing or allude to significant things.

So, before the event goes away, I have compiled these things here for future viewing. Who knows? Maybe some things that are just fluff will be subtly important when connected to future events/Integrated Strategies relics. It's a spur of the moment thing, so if someone wants to put this in a format more easily digestible than an overly long table, feel free. For now, it is divided into four posts. Also, huge thanks to Biniko and his twitch chat for filling in the 11 relics still silhouetted in my list.

Relic# Name Effect Description
1 Ursus Big Bread Squad Size Limit +1 Food from ursus with a strong, fermented taste. Quite sour.
2 Dried Cactus Chips Squad Size Limit +1 This strange, dessicated plant doesn't look tasty at all, but the people of Bolívar often immerse it in water before drinking.
3 Dried Yucca Fruit Squad Size Limit +1 The banana yucca is a fruit that grows in arid environments. It has an excellent taste and is easier to preserve after drying.
4 Caravan Boxed Meal Squad Size Limit +2 This convenient meal sold by intercity Columbian caravans is deep fried, loaded with calories, and tastes great... but isn't very healthy.
5 Half Can of Sandworms Squad Size Limit +2 "These chopped sandworms are soaked in olive oil and exude a natural fragrance!" That's just what the ads say, so don't take it at face value. Urgh...
6 Victorian Rations Squad Size Limit +3 A former Victorian sergeant described this as such: "Huge portions, hard to wash down, but won't kill you."
7 Outdated Map Deployment Limit +1 A worn and weathered map depicting the geographic features of the surrounding area, possibly with incorrect descriptions and unaccounted-for cliffs.

100 questions to developers (Let's communicate....again)

Story time with Yamiks : Last year I did a similar post and unfortunateley did get no response from developer side, SO today on 6th anniversary for Elite Dangerous I post this list of questions so maybe we can get some dev-butts on reddit to interactwith this community side for once!.

Following are the 100 questions about Past, Present & the Future of Elite Dangerous, that I have compiled and have wanted to ask developers numerous times(some have been asked but have met with absolute silence).

Still anyone here is welcome to add questions or try to provide answers if you have sources ..or just try to explain... let's have fun!

Softballs :

  • What is the gameplay type OR thing that players do IN-game, you wish they were doing differently!?
  • How has engineering affected player gamepleay choices & patterns?(anything interesting to share?)
  • Why is hauler named hauler?(and not smth like hopper, which in Yamiks' mind fits it way better)
  • Why chose "ARX" as the name for the "virtual currency"?
  • What are the team's considerations when making a new ship?
  • What is Horizons : DLC, Expansion, Season pass or something else?
  • Why are the cargo doors the same size on all ships? (by Justin H.)
  • Which is the most & least used ship? (not counting cobra4 as it's an exclusive)
  • What is the most common cause of death in Elite Dangerous?
  • What is the most visited system?

Future content & what if's :

  • Are we going to see new SRV models?(time independent)
  • Players often mention "wormholes" as a means of faster travel. Assuming you have discussed this internally : what could you tell us about such a gameplay * * * feature and why it's not in the game?
  • What's happening with Ice planet stuff you teased last year?
  • Can we expect new ships before 2021 update?
  • Would we ever be able to Engineer, if not all experimental, then AX weapons at least?
  • Can we expect improvements for CQC in following 2 years?
  • Would you (devs) ever consider letting CQC go Free-2-play?
  • Are there any plans on expanding Federal & Imperial ship list?
  • Would there be larger ships that players can control than "Large"? (not counting fleet carriers. ships just like others, that you controll from the cockpit)
  • Any plans on adding more LARGE type ships?
  • Will the next update too be a seeason pass? (if not then why not?)
  • Could we get powerplay modules available for everyone, no matter what power?
  • may we, and will we ever get new hyper jump

That's Confirmation Bias for the newbies.

I know, if you are here you know about steel and why I like $MT - hey, it was up today - I think we see more price run due to $MT being able to unload $CLF shares - which I also think is bullish for $CLF and yes, I'm buying more $CLF on the dip tomorrow.

It was a brilliant move, in my opinion, by our boy, LG @ $CLF.

Commodity Club - Super Cycle Update

Hey all -

I wrote to y'all back in December about an upcoming Commodity Super Cycle - figured it's time for that quarterly update. This will be a rather long post covering most commodities - strap in! My plays are listed at the bottom.

For context into where we are and where we are going - reference the following from November.

https://preview.redd.it/ty12y2x1hyi61.png?width=1028&format=png&auto=webp&s=7a854de44adc76b1ab07857abaabc5b09ff8f1d7

As of today - we trade at 436.18. Commodity bull markets last years and historically have always set new highs. Historically oil has led the charge in commodity indexes, but what instead has occurred is an unprecedented spike in metals across the board. Let's dig into charts, understand the rationale for the price action, and look into potential winners in these fields.

Copper:

https://preview.redd.it/tvo8j5r2hyi61.png?width=2466&format=png&auto=webp&s=66a2f845773a969a2cb3ccd9e0677251c2f230a6

Last time we spoke, copper was trading at $3.65/pound and recently ran to $4.15/pound. Part of this is due to supply constraints, but realistically this recent run indicates a much larger scenario at play. Paper copper (e.g. futures markets) are being speculated higher with volume as traders believe that future prices will be higher and producers will buy at higher levels. Historically for commodities, spikes with volume indicate significantly higher prices ahead.

Copper has been the largest winner for commodity traders. Big names like $FCX and $CLF have had significant run-ups (80-90%) while less exposed copper producers like $TECK have seen 50%+. COPX - as a mining ETF saw a 50% run-up.

Most miners recently reported earnings. In short, it was amazing. Miners were able to realize prices at $3.20+/pound in Q4 with costs between $1.30-1.40/pound. Here's $TECK's Q4 financial report for more info on guidance, prices, and costs - they made 470m (CAD) in profit on 80k tons of copper. Imagine what it'll look like with copper prices between $3.60-4.20/pound. $FCX expects to sell 3.8b pounds (1.9m tons) of copper in 2021. Even if we estimate copper at $3.60/pound for 2021, they'd net nearly $9b in profit on just copper for the year.

Copper has significan

Fed alien - Tactical Star Cruiser (T6) build - am I on the right track?

This is the first T6 build that I've done for my Fed alien toon (1 of 4 on my account).

I've been trying to refine this particular T6 build with what I have before I go to another toon an attempt the same. Feedback welcome and appreciated. I'm sanity checking to see if I'm on the right track, and I'd like to know which of the reputations to focus on.

BACKGROUND

  • At least got this right -- stuck with single damage type (phasers)
  • Re-used flagship consoles from the T6 pack (last sale)
  • Re-used the prolonged engagement torpedo, console and phaser beam array (last Lobi sale -- all I could muster)
  • Used free reward mods from the Discovery rep; working on the following reps:
    • Discovery (Tier 3)
    • Iconian (Tier 2)
    • Omega (Tier 3)
    • Competitive Wargames (Tier 1)
  • Skill tree and traits are basically from "Baby Steps - Part 3" without all the fancy traits from lockboxes and other high-end sources
  • DEW (???) build is basically from "Baby Steps - Part 2"
  • Using A2B build (I think) with green and blue technician DOFFs (working on getting purple technicians)
  • Also using purple DOFFs from Phoenix rewards for bonus damage against Tholians and Borg (during Red Alert and TFOs)
  • Working on getting Emergency Weapon Cycle startship trait from T6 battlecruiser pack
  • Deciding on applying A Good Day to Die to toon from a lockbox (before I stopped gambling)

I'm short on EC right now because I am spending what I make and spending too much time between 4 toons, but I'm ready to try the DIL --> ZEN --> keys --> EC conversion process in the next week or two. Otherwise, I've been crafting expensive training manuals and doing the daily tour of the galaxy.

A guide to exploration!

The Symbol for Elite Rank in Exploration

Exploration is arguably the most unique career choice in Elite/Any game I've played to this point. You can literally find something that nobody has ever laid eyes on before! And you get to land and drive on planets that have never been seen by any other player. And most of all, you get to put your name on systems, permanently!

This guide is mainly meant for people who are just starting out in the field of exploration or are looking for more efficient ways of doing things. However, it may still be helpful for even those who are proficient explorers, as there's always something new to learn!

Ship Choices

Before you head out there, you're going to want to fit out and engineer a ship. The mainstays of most explorers are the Diamondback Explorer (DBX), Asp Explorer (AspX), Krait Phantom, and the Anaconda. All of these ships have leading, if not best in class jump ranges, but some will need more engineering than others. Luckily you can get by with just having Farseer unlocked.

Keep in mind that with enough engineering, smart outfitting, and just general patience, any ship can be an exploration ship, but there will still be ships that are better suited to the purpose.

Plenty of pilots use Type-10s, Federal Gunships/Assault Ships/Dropships, Haulers, and others. What matters is that you like the ship you're flying. You're going to be seeing a LOT of it.

Outfitting

To get started, make sure you have a fuel scoop, and preferably the A-graded unit of the highest class your ship can carry. (So for example the Anaconda's biggest internal slot is a size 7, so I run a 7A fuel scoop). This is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL for exploration, as you'll run out of fuel eventually without it. If you do run out of fuel, quit to the main menu immediately and call on the fuel rats.

The single most important piece of tech that you'll need out there: The Fuel Scoop

Now take one of the above-mentioned ships (or pick one that you really, really like), A-rate your FSD and Power Plant, and D-rate everything else modules. D-rated modules are the lightest modules, and reducing weight is key to maximizing jump range. Additionally, since you aren't goi

Years after the world suffered a major blackout and mass destruction of infrastructure, the coastal city of Fortuna tries to mend itself together, piece by painstaking piece.

A Bayview raid on kidnappers goes haywire, where DCE Special Agent Isaac Kane and his team must now contend with a new syndicate in Fortuna headed by Looking Glass, sending their investigation spiraling in all directions. DD on Rare Earths, Lynas, and some speculative plays

OK so bear with me, little bit of a long write-up but I think it takes some explanation. A couple times recently I've gone to explain my Rare Earth Element (REE) investments and why I think they're so solid. I found it to be kind of difficult and have an easier time writing things out. So, if you're up for a read, enjoy. The bottom line up front is that I believe this entire market is undervalued, underappreciated, and going to have a major surge this year. They're up already but I think this is still kind of the beginning.

Disclaimer 1: I am a relatively novice investor / trader, technical analysis is not my strong suit. Please feel free to poke holes in anything I say. This is my first DD, any feedback on how to improve would be greatly appreciated.

Disclaimer 2: I'm ok with going after high risk investments with the potential for high profits. None of the investments I have are money I need back in the near future. I'm pretty sure most of the stocks I'm going to talk about aren't even traded on RH and these certainly aren't going to become meme stocks. Going to the moon is in the realm of possibility but it might take years to reach full potential and some of the speculative plays might never pan out.

Disclaimer 3: I was gonna include citations but I have no idea how to do that on Reddit without it getting messy and also got kind of lazy. If you're interested in specific sources let me know.

What are REE?: Before any of this makes sense a few words to describe what REE actually are. I've been aware of the importance of REE for over a decade by virtue of my work. Sometimes I forget that it isn't exactly common knowledge; the other day I was telling a friend about why I like REE stocks and he asked, "like gold?" So, no - not gold. There are 17 elements on the periodic table that you may have never heard of that are critical to just so many things. In a second I'll provide a quick blurb about a handful of them, but basically they are scattered in deposits just like pretty much other precious metal, can be mined as ore, refined into chemicals or usable metal, and then used for various things. These deposits - as the name indicates - are kind of rare. Companies and facilities that actually mine and refine REE are way more rare. More on that soon.

So what are the elements? I'm sure they're all important in some way, but here's a few of the key REE that I personally follow:

Scandium (Sc): Very important for aero

Trader (Humans Were Usually Around 2) [oc]

With the pleasant reception to the previous, I’ll give it a go. One of a few narrative structures I am considering to extend the prologue world into something with a plot. Reading the world setting in the previous is probably useful. Never written anything with dialogue before, so we shall see...

---

Trans-United shipping was a quiet little shipping outfit, wholly owned and managed by Humans. It never had the largest ships, and stayed away from giant contracts, preferring to do smaller jobs. Most of its pilots and all its captains were from human space.

Thomas’ ship was not large enough to have both a captain and a pilot, or anyone other than himself for that matter. And he generally liked it that way. He liked space. He liked the quiet of the pulls between planets when picking up cargo. He liked the quiet floating when he got someplace before a berth was ready. He even like the shifts – the complex physics that didn’t make sense but somehow used tweaking time with gravity to make travel beyond a few light years work. Stasis fields turn on, then turn off and you woke up someplace new, very well rested despite virtually no time having passed. It was like a bonus night’s sleep.

---

He dropped into a trading system neither on nor off the beaten track and slid up toward a docking ring. Being a registered transport who had been here before, but not pre-coordinating his arrival, there were the usual short pleasantries.

“Welcome to Prolisi, what can we do for you?” the station – probably automated, but you never knew,-asked.

“I’m Captain Thomas Wolak of the Earth registered vessel ‘Long Haul,’ here to trade. I’m carrying raw materials, no passengers, no organics,” was the formulaic reply.

“Permission to dock granted. Inspection of cargo takes place on the docks.”

Which was one of the reasons Thomas stuck to smaller trading stations. No pre-arrival boarding team inspections. Not that he necessarily was worried, but the intrusion rubbed him the wrong way. He was infinitely glad the “scanners” of sci-fi lore were not really a thing. With enough energy, sure, you might get some penetration of the various alloys of a ship, but nothing useful unless you were very close for a very long time.

After debarking, he wandered over toward one of the trade desks. While deals were generally handled directly between inter

Info Dump 2.0

Sorry for an info-dump so soon after the last one. A friend is in the ICU in a medically induced coma and the wife and I are busy trying to give succor to the rest of our friends and her family.

On the plus side, there is more in the weapons and technology sections as well as adding a "Religion" section. :)

Anyway, no editor had input on this, so any problems or questions say something down below!

WiFi Router puns, Cosmere edition

Hey folks, I recently moved while I was working through Rhythm of War and finally admitted to myself that I liked everything Cosmere more than Star Wars or Lord of the Rings (I sometimes think that I should be a Lightweaver, even though Windrunner's appeal to me in a huge way). The grand tradition of "What do I name my WiFi network" came up, and I found only a few options on a forum post on the Coppermind. I think it's time to update the list.

In short, please help me build a list of WiFi router puns. I know there's more out there than this list:

Chapter 35: Old Reliques

Herron had come up to replace Tom not long after Nunuk had left him.

“So you got out of guard duty then,” Herron asked, seeming nonplussed about it.

“I’ll come back later don’t you worry”

“Hehe yeah, I’m sure, don’t mind having a favor in your court.” He didn’t sound convinced but he didn’t seem bothered either so oh well. Tom liked the guy, he was chill.

Tom made his way down the tower and into Nunuk's and Apuma’s room. He knocked on the door and was invited inside. There he saw the old Lady and Dakota standing in front of a large cupboard of sorts. It was very finely decorated, with carvings and the like painted white and blue as was much of importance around here.

“So you had something to show me?”

“Indeed, yesterday you prevented me from committing a grave mistake. I thank you for that. It seems only fair you get to see what it was you saved and why it is so important.”

Nunuk moved over and opened the large cupboard inside which revealed a sparkling set of armor, unlike anything Tom had yet seen. It was full plate from tip to toe and absolutely beautiful. With detailed engraving and hammered out patterns in the steel which shone like a mirror. It was smooth and elegant, interlocking plates seemingly flowing into one another, it almost looked form-fitting in fact.

Instead of chainmail, it used little metal scales to cover the neck and other weak points. the scales and Many of the trimmings were made in the same deep cobalt metallic blue of their horns. As Tom looked closer, there were tiny runes carved into them. It looked like something straight out of the legendary items list of a fantasy game.

“Oh my, that’s pretty”

“Why thank you. This is my armor, my m

Tesla is responsible for Every Single Major breakthroughs in the car industry in the last 10 years

Something occurred to me last night about Tesla.

I was reflecting on all the major breakthroughs made in the automotive industry as a whole and I noticed that ALL the most important ones in the last 10 years were made EXCLUSIVELY by Tesla.

No one else.

Tesla have been the FIRST to do everything!

This may seem hard to fathom but there are none.

So I actually sat down and contructed a definitive list of all the accomplishments made by Tesla and created an easy to read master document.

I have not seen anyone on the internet make an actual list, so I created one myself.

Feel free to copy and paste it, save it as a document, alter it, update it! Please correct me if anything is wrong! Add more if you can think of any!

This list may justify Tesla’s current seemingly over-weighted value as a stock.

So far, I have at least 60 breakthroughs I can list!

Some of this you probably already know. But there may be some that are new to you which you haven’t considered!

I think even the most fanatical Tesla fans are underestimating just how forward-thinking and far-stretched Tesla has gone to consolidate so many revenue streams! I am not going to focus on battery and solar in this research as that would be too much for this document to handle.

In this list, you will notice three key things:

  1. Tesla are the FIRST company to make the breakthrough while all other car manufacturers are trying to catch up, by COPYING what Tesla has done or doing nothing at all!

  2. Many of these breakthroughs are either 5 years ahead of the traditional automotive manufacturers or they are simply not doing it and never will because it’s too hard!

  3. Many of the breakthroughs are actually a DELETION of something unnecessary to save money, rather than an addition. In fact, you will notice the absence of the part opens a whole range of opportunities and capabilities to the company (“The best part is no part.” This is an ingenious concept)

I have broken down this list into categories:

  1. Source of energy

  2. Specifications in safety, acceleration and range

  3. Payment structures and sources of income

  4. Functionality & software

  5. Vehicle & factory construction

  6. Deletions

SOURCE OF ENERGY

  1. Tesla are the first, successful battery-powered electric vehicle company (which catalysed the EV revolution) – Tesla’s single biggest accomplishment, and now, every automotive company is attempting to copy & catch up.

2. *They are the first and only company t

Character Showcase: Hanna the Mechanic and Bracer the A.I.

Name: Hanna "The PowerJack" Davis, Bracer Artificial Intelligence System Version 7.3

Gender: Female (Hanna,) None (Bracer)

Race: Human (Hanna), Artificial Intelligence (Bracer)

Class: Mechanic/Mechanical Healer (Hanna), Artificial Paladin (Bracer)

Appearance: Hanna is a younger looking woman with long orange-red hair tied back into a ponytail, dark green eyes, and a grey jean mechanics jacket, as well as blue jean pants cut off at the knees and brown work boots. Around her neck is a small pendant with a picture of her and her baby brother when she was young with her parents, and she has a pair of work gloves on at all times.

Bracer is a tall, chrome colored Android with a spherical head sporting a rectangular green visor where the eyes would be, with no nose or mouth underneath. It wears no clothing, but it has intricate carvings in the metal, giving it a more of a sleek look. If you look closely, you can see a split running from the top center of its head all the way down to its arm and legs, which also have nearly invisible splits in them, allowing nearly all of it to open up for repairs and other things. On the back of the head is carved the words 'Stryker XI'

Passive Abilities:

Hanna: Mechanics Knowledge: Hannas experience with engineering and mechanics makes her building speed and repairing speed is increased.

Engineers insulation: Due to Hannas constant work with Mechanical objects, she has built a light resistance to heat and moderate resistance to electricity.

Amputations: Hanna had to have her legs amputated due to major injuries she received when her transport vehicle was attacked and went off of a cliff. These amputations reduce her defence moderatly and her speed majorly. Prosthetic legs could be used to fix this in the future.

Bracer: Solar Charger: In non combat scenarios with moderate light levels, Bracer can go to low power mode and use light to slowly replenish lost energy.

Technology Interface: Touching technology with either a Nano-Cable or it's hands will link Bracer to most interfaces, and it can hack/search files with extreme speeds.

Power Siphoning: In the same way Bracer can search files, it can also charge itself by attaching itself to large power sources via Cables or Hands. (Not quite sure if this is a passive ability or an active one, but I think it should go here.

Language Interface: Bracer attempts to decipher languages unknown to it. The simpler the language or the more exposure it has to it help it learn f

Why silver will skyrocket..............

  3. SilverCoat Foley catheters are used in urology to prevent urinary tract infections from catheter use. Canadian company Covalon is pushing the boundaries on medical technologies that saves lives. This SilverCoat technology is one of them.

The importance to invest in silver now before it skyrockets!!!!!!!!!!!!
         More than just a movement

Sorry for the long post and for those that have already read this. I thought this would be an important post so people can realize the importance of this.

We know it's important for the monetary value.

So this is why everyone in the industry wants it, needs it and they know it. The panic will start when they know there has started and will be a shortage. This will affect a lot of manufacturing.

State of the Game - 18 November 2020

#State of the Game

This State of the Game focused on the first phase of the TU12 PTS and was looking ahead to PTS Phase 2.

##Priority Alerts

###Maintenance - November 17th, 2020

  • Enabling Season 3 level skips in the game store.

###Known Issues => you can check out the Known Issues here: Link

#TU12 – PTS

##Phase 1 is Done

  • As of this afternoon, Phase 1 of the TU12 PTS is done.
  • There were a lot of feedback and bug reports.

##Optimization Station

###Cost too high / Resource Confusion

  • There was feedback that the cost to optimize the gear is too high
  • But they also noticed that there was confusion about how to obtain the Optimization Resources
  • The confusion was also based on the fact that the UI did not list all the sources or some sources were simply not present on the PTS.

###Sources => Image

These are all the sources where you get Optimization Resources:

  • You can get the Optimization Resources from the listed primary sources:
    • Assault Rifle Alloys (and others)
      • deconstructing gear and weapons
    • Field Recon Data
      • Control Points in the LZ, Landmarks in the DZ, and the higher floors of The Summit
    • True Sons Tactical Assessment (and other faction materials)
      • defeating bosses of the various factions
    • SHD Calibration
      • completing Daily and Weekly projects (PvE and PvP). Weekly Projects will give substantially more materials than Daily Projects)
  • Summit Caches from completing Summit Challenges
    • always contain a small number of SHD Calibration and Field Recon Data.
  • Optimization Caches from Season Event and Rewards Track rewards
    • always contain a moderate amount of SHD Calibration and Field Research Data.
  • All Materials may be crafted from blueprints found in certain projects as well as high-threat control points.

###No Changes to the Costs

  • They believe that the current optimization costs with all these various sources are in a good place.
  • They will continue to monitor the situation
  • So check out Phase 2 of the PTS and see how things are with this information in mind.
  • Season Rewards will still be inactive on PTS Phase 2
