Foil ball + clothes dryer = metal bits in laundry?
I'm looking at economical, reusable alternatives to dryer sheets. I read that balls of foil in the dryer can reduce static cling. I'm wondering if anyone has actually used this.
I also read that a slightly damp washcloth with apple cider vinegar works too. This seems more promising.
- How long does the foil ball last?
- Does the foil degrade and start leaving little pieces of metal dispersed throughout your clothes?
P.S. I live in a small apartment. I'm not even considering air drying. It's hard enough for my lazy butt to clean without clothes hanging everywhere.
My ball python likes to rest her chin on her hide and watch the outside world, like if I'm doing laundry. Is this normal behavior?
She does spend most of her time in her hides. It does seem like she specifically is watching me do stuff, just sometimes she likes staring at me or other points of interest in the room.

Growing up, my parents owned a dry cleaners, and always had tennis balls in their industrial sized dryer. It helped with single/ few items, and especially with comforters and bed sheets.
This has come in handy to me on numerous occasions; Living in an apartment with a single washer and dryer unit in the basement... Drying comforters and bedsheets is a whole lot easier with tennis balls bouncing it around. Or even if you're trying to get your money's worth and shoving in as much laundry into the dryer as possible.
Thought I would share since I feel like barely anyone knows of this.
