In my opinion, the best movie out of the three. I love the darker tone and Shen is such a good villain. Him and Po were foils and mirrors of each other. The first of course is a blast, but the second one really digs deep into Po as a character. The third one is my least favorite but I still think it is a good movie. The campier, lighter tone threw me off after how the second movie was.
What are you guys opinion?
Shen had a cannon in the movie. Other than that he also had blades on his feathers and a sword. He could have fitted so well with Lin Fei or Sidra. Very sad it's not going to happen.
I absolutely love Kung Fu Panda. And I absolutely love Brawlhalla (most of the time). Now that they're going to be in the same game it's like a dream come true. Not to mention the possibility for other crossovers from the Dreamworks universe. Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, Megamind, Over the Hedge, just to name a few. It makes me very happy to see how much this game has grown in the 4-5 years I've been playing. It started off with BMG being bought by Ubi and introducing Rayman into the game. It's only gone up from there. Cheers to the BMG team and all of the non-toxic community. Kung Fu Panda time soon!
I only saw part of an episode as a kid. I swear it was a 2D Kung Fu Panda show, but the only Kung Fu Panda show from that time is 3D. The only scene I really remember is a character (shifu?) goes underground to a giant purple(?) cavern and talks to a really cool looking Chinese dragon for guidance. The dragon says that the character HAS do to something (because of a prophecy?). The character doesn't want to, but they are afraid of the dragon.
I saw some Kung Fu Panda (2008) recommendations on YT and couldn't help but notice how similar LOA teachings are to some parts of the movie. The part when Oogway says, ' yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present' and the part where Po finds out that 'there is no secret ingredient. All you have to do is believe and it'll work'. Isn't it wonderful that a kid's movie has such amazing teachings in it lmao
Who would win between the fighting and talking panda's
R1: Regular panda vs Po movie 1
R2: Gorilla panda vs Po movie 2 and 3
Kung Fu Panda 1 plot: Po is panda who dreams to be Kung Fu Master but his dad wants him to make noodles. He lands in the care of Master Shifu, who is reluctant to train him, but he must find a way to do so, as Tai Lung, a dangerous fighter has escaped from prison.
KFP2 Plot: Po learns to use inner peace to fight an inventive war machine and learns about the origins of his past
KFP3 Plot: Po must learn to use Chi to stop Kai, a evil Master of chi who has come back from the spirit realm. (Minor spoiler: he meets his real panda family in a secret village of pandas)
I think it'd better if Kung fu panda 2 was switched and the foreshadowing of Po's real family was introduced. Then KFP2 would be an origin story prequel, followed by KFP3.
I've realised with the addition of Beastkin and the new racial feats etc you can make any of the characters from the film (all monks)... As follows:
Po: Hobgoblin Beastkin (panda) Cook. Hobgoblin chosen for the runtsage and (gm and Lamashtu allowing) access to the bouncy goblin feat line via Chosen of Lamashtu. Dragon Stance for obvious Reasons.
Tigress: Elf Beastkin (tiger) Martial Disciple (acrobatics). Elf for the speed and general demeanor of the character. Tiger stance.
Monkey: Goblin Beastkin (monkey) Street Urchin. with chosen of Lamashtu to pick up Tailed monkey. Gorilla stance.
Mantis: Pixie Grig Field medic (to represent the acupuncture). Wolf stance because tripping is useful.
Snake: Kobold Beastkin (snake) Acrobat. Focus on the movement ancestry feats and ki based class feats
Crane: Strix Beastkin (Crane) Martial Disciple (Athletics). Strix over Tengu for the wing based race feats. Crane style.
... So yeah, I put way too much thought into that. But if people want to use these in the upcoming fighting tournament AP, feel free haha
Soothsayer predicted that Shen will be killed by panda, and he murderd the village of pandas, in fact, if were not for her stupid prophecy, we would have avoided the killing of the pandas, the exile of Shen by he parents, the death of master rhino and the whole movie. What do you think?
Since the next installment of the KFP franchise is the TV show: 'KFP: The Dragon Knight', what do you think the story will be about and who do you think will be the main protagonists?
personally, I want the story to go back to Po and the furious five like legends of awesomeness, since the paws of destiny show felt kinda empty without them.
