Baklava is definitely the most popular dessert in the Middle East, with dozens of different shapes, sizes and fillings of baklava, it begs the question - has anyone made a "savoury Baklava"? The answer to that is Yes, there are many varieties of "savoury baklava" that are served throughout the Middle East and Balkan region. You may know this as Börek (Burek, Brek) or Spanakopita, but in Egypt and parts of the Middle East we call it Goulash; layers upon layers of crispy Phyllo (Filo) pastry surrounding a filling made of lightly spiced ground beef. More than being a recipe, Goulash or Borek is a cooking technique that can be applied to any filling you can think of. The result is an extremely crispy pastry filled with a delicious savoury centre.
If you want to see how I assemble the Goulash, check out the full recipe video here

Clarification on this post as in an earlier reply today: "This post was more an expression of my disgust with the symbols they thoughtlessly choose, and the lack of sustained critical thinking that many of their choices, including this, exhibit."
My frustration was that the signs of their outward culture look a whole lot like signs some of us share in our gun culture (not exclusive to the Punisher logo), but the ultimate manifestation of those signs in their mind is a tacit license to take liberty from all of us for their own perceived benefit.
This is the beauty of limited supply, and the scarcity that initially drove so many toward Bitcoin.
Now that the number of r/Nanocurrency subscribers is rising rapidly, we should keep in mind of the currency's scarcity as more eyes turn to Nano.
I know this isn't a high quality post (can't jump into a fountain every day),but I just wanted to share this recent observation.

> Now take your nasty religion and race and return to your own country. Having n-words like you, asking otherwise decent men to participate in sick and perverted racemixing degeneracy, consequently making themselves filthy and properly getting attacked by diseases, is beyond reprehensible.
> It is pathetic that you continue to behave like some unwanted parasite, who desperately resist returning to your own country, even though you are not welcome in White countries. The problem I guess is, that you know exactly how unattractive a black country like Morocco is. However, you just can't expect anything better, considering the fact that the population of Morocco has an average IQ of 82. About your disgusting, sexual fantasies about White men like me, wanting anything to do with n-words like you, just stop it. Stop it. Go to Morocco and get married to your cousin or uncle or whatever you n-words do. I am sure it'll keep you busy.

Republicans who turned their backs against Trump and voted for Biden are a primary reason why Trump lost this election. But the far left refuses to acknowledge this demographic because it interrupts the narrative that Trumpism/Fascism is all that conservativism has to offer now. It's fascism or socialism and nothing in between. Obviously, there are millions of right-leaning individuals who despise Trump. But a few hundred people storm the capitol building and that somehow means that ALL right-leaning people are evil.
I live in Canada, where we have recently seen a few "pro-Trump" rallies across the country. These have mostly been extremely tiny (like 30 people), but Canadian lefties are now spamming about how this shows how ALL conservatives in Canada are racist, fascist and violent. I have not talked to one single conservative person I know here who has anything good to say about Trump. In fact, I have not talked to a single conservative Canadian who is opposed to our "socialist" fre... keep reading on reddit ➡
In this world, you can give something absolutely everything you have, and there's a big chance that things still won't work out for you. You can work yourself to your core and still not succeed, then proceed to watch others around you get everything you ever wanted after making minimal effort. You'll see absolute assholes stand above you, and there's no silver lining where "they'll get what's coming to them" or "work harder and you'll get there".
Optimism doesn't always apply to these situations, there are times where you simply just won't succeed, and there are no plausible or fair reasons as to why. The most honest statement is that life is shit, we're all just trying to survive and we've all forgotten why.

According to the bible, nothing is impossible for god (Luke 1:37). Further, god desires for all people to be saved and come to know "the truth", which in the context of the verse presumably means the existence of Jesus, heaven and hell, salvation, etc. (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
And yet, despite the biblical god's supposed power and desires, there are many who do not believe this god exists - in fact, according to the bible itself, far more people will go to "destruction" instead of "life" (Matthew 7:13-14).
Even further, despite the bible's many claims of clearly observable miracles (country-wide plagues, mass resurrection, creation of food ex nihilo, interfering with orbits in our solar system, etc.), nothing of the sort happens today, with any supposed modern "miracles" being vastly reduced in scope and observability, and being of dubious veracity. This is despite the bible's own acknowledgment that such miracles lead people to believe (Acts 9:40-42), which supposedly is what this god wan... keep reading on reddit ➡
Just today, Yuchen Liu, Chenyang Xu, and Ziquan Zhuang put up a preprint solving the so-called finite generation conjecture, a conjecture in algebraic geometry that forms the last link in a long chain of conjectures in the study of the K-stability of Fano varieties, a huge topic of research in algebraic geometry over the last several decades. Since the resolution of this conjecture essentially completes this field of study, I thought it would be a good idea to post a reasonably broad discussion of it and its significance.
In this post I will summarise this research program and the significance of the paper, and where people in the field will likely turn to next.
Going all the way back to the beginning, the problem starts with what pure mathematicians actually want to do with themselves. The way I like to think of it is this: pure mathematicians want to find mathematical structures, understand their properties, understand the links... keep reading on reddit ➡
