Hello everyone, I recently bought a 2013 focus st st3 for $14,000 with 72,xxx miles on it. It seemed like a pretty good deal considering itβs an st3. But my one concern is the miles are fairly high so I was curious if there is any major repair coming up I should be aware of and do these cars last 150k + miles?
Like the title says, I want to make dovetail boxes and small furniture like shaker end tables and coffee tables. Can I get away with a dovetail saw until I move on to bigger projects or do I definitely need a tenon back saw?
I got these brand new today from a reputable and recommended dealer today in the mail.
Powered up and checked them.
Left eye: focuses and works fine.
Right eye: blurry where I can make out high contrast shapes but no ability to make the image sharper rotating the focus in either direction.
Is this normal? I only have a few days to return them.

Let's start with a few brief questions (that we would really prefer that you answer completely and in the following order)!
How do you feel about Goop's fashion brand?
What are some words that you associate with Goop's luxury fashion brand G Label?
What is the average amount that you spend on cropped sweaters in a fiscal quarter?
What is your annual household income?
Do you associate G Label with other contemporary/luxury brands?
What are your feelings about Goop/G Label founder Gwyneth Paltrow?
This is going to be so much fun! I love asking questions on female fashion Reddit and seeing all of your responses, especially when they are thorough and complete to the best of your knowledge! Let's chat ladies (it's more fun if you answer all of the above questions accurately and in the order in which they appear)!!!
srs edit; This low effort free market research gambit was deleted before it could be archived, your pasta will be dry af unless someone can Reddit better than I can/ grabbed screenshots before it was deleted

EDIT: The bug exists with AWAKENED Elemental Focus - normal EF works fine.
Can we please make sure GGG sees this ASAP:
The most recent patch notes said this under General Improvements: "Elemental Focus Support can now support skills which inflict elemental ailments."
I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but Wintertide Brand can chill by default, which is an elemental ailment. The most recent patch has made Elemental Focus NOT support this skill, and probably others.
The description of EF now reads "Supports any skill that hits or burns enemies" - previously, I believe it read "Supports any skill that hits or burns enemies, or inflicts elemental ailments"
Why the change GGG - please tell me this is a mistake, because otherwise you just nerfed many builds by 50% damage, and there isn't a great replacement.
After getting interested in the game via Twitch I finally decided to check it out.
So far Iβve had an alright time taking it slow and learning Customs (the only map Iβve played so far).
Iβve been able to pick the leftovers of fights at dorms and extract with modified AKs and a few other weapons. There is obviously a lot of loot to figure out what to do with.
As a new player, what should I be focusing on? Just doing the tasks/quests for the traders?
Can I do tasks as a scav or do I have to be a PMC to say, kill 5 scabs and collect shotguns for the first Prapor task?
Any advice you can give a new player is appreciated!
Worst offender right now are Ender 3 shills, before that it was Prusa, Anicubic and other brands. I get it, you're proud of your machine and want to show it off but it's too much. Can we please ban posts of unassembled printers and their boxes, gummi bears and other things that just highlight a printer brand but are otherwise useless? They clutter up this sub and don't provide any useful information.
Same for all these posts like "Printed my first benchy on my [insert printer brand]. Did it come out perfect?"
(Narrator: It looked perfect).
And I don't mean beginners should not be allowed to ask questions and get feedback, but be less shilly about it. I remember people posting their slicer settings (there was an automod once a long time ago that asked for these settings), but now these posts are merely to highlight a printer brand.
I love 3D printing and learned so much in this sub, but it's becoming a chore to dig through all these shill posts to find the gems.
Ok, I'm done with my rant. Curious to see how many downvotes this post will get.
Happy printing everyone!
No way, who would have thought?
I have been applying for a lot of jobs lately and haven't even been getting interviewed. I feel like my work is strong, but maybe I am missing something in my portfolio.
Canβt focus with music sadly :/
Hi all!
I had the idea to tinker with a (overly complicated) cyclone build this league. I wanted to run Cyclone CwC with Volatile Dead (And possibly Detonate Dead -- Haven't made it that far yet), with the new Arcanist Brand pumping out corpses via Desecrate. While trying to find a way to trigger Arcanist Brand without interrupting Cyclone, I found the Trigger Socketed Spells When You Focus mod. I'm running into two issues at the moment that might be because I'm a bit of a noob -- Started in Metamorph and a lot of interactions are still beyond me.
First issue is that Arcanist Brand doesn't appear to cast Desecrate. At all. I'm testing it as a Necromancer (Planned to pivot into Elementalist) and for some reason, casting Arcanist Brand procs Plaguebringer, but no corpses appear. The second issue is that using the Focus skill with the trigger mod on my helmet doesn't cast anything. It doesn't cast Desecrate, and it doesn't cast Arcanist Brand. If I remove Arcanist Brand, it triggers Desecrate, however.
Is this something you've encountered before? Is it a bug or a mechanical limitation I'm not aware of? And if so, do you guys have any suggestions for an alternative way to proc Desecrate? I'm really excited about the potential of the build and I don't want to give up on it yet, but I'm feeling a bit concerned at the moment that it might not be possible.
Here's the PoB I theory'd up before league start -- Obviously needs a lot of polish, and I've got settings set so the numbers are unrealistic (I'd guess I could get half of the DPS shown) but it was looking pretty viable.

Thanks in advance!
I remember stumbling upon a dossier of Marvel characters, was Hawkeye included? Where is that dossier? I definitely want to play a Jeremy Renner Hawkeye, what would be appropriate for him. A perk/quirk called resting face: Stern?
So, i'm starting using this skill and i linked Elemental Focus. I'm receveing the more damage from the Elemental Focus and at the same time, Wintertide is ignoring the "Supported skills cannot inflict elemental ailments".
Is that intended or it's a bug?
Anything like what Cultural Blends or Simply Seattle has to offer.
Hello,
I made a 100% factual Tier list of each spell focus. If you disagree with anything I say it just means you are a noob and not pro like me.
Joking aside just wanted to make this for fun and I am far from the best at the game just a fan. I would love to discuss what you guys think about my list (ideally on youtube so I get boosted) but here is fine also!
Much Love Friends!
There are, from what I've counted, 72 villagers who were in the original Animal Crossing/Animal Forest e+ but did not make it to a future game. My question is: would you rather see a focus on the return of these older characters, a focus on brand new ones, or a mixture of both (which has been the pattern from game to game so far)? By the way, the true number is 73 if you include Champ who did not make it from City Folk to New Leaf (RIP), the only game to receive a villager cut aside from the massive cuts in Wild World.
I love new characters and the hype surrounding them, but personally I'm not a fan of cutting older ones to make room for newer ones simply because every villager is someone's favorite. Knox isn't the most popular, but I'd be devastated if my boy didn't make it to the next title. I also wonder if new villagers keep being added, we'll eventually find ourselves with a "Pokedex" problem somewhere down the line. I know they're very different games with very different developers and programming, but there has to be an upper limit eventually. Could you imagine having 1000 villagers 50 years down the line? But then again, the games might feel stale if few or no new villagers are developed for the next game. What do you think?

Yesterday I made a post abt subway asking for interest on producing the fw19 supreme track jacket and it was a doozy.. I brought the info back to him and said not to make it bc of input from all u beautiful people
He asked me 2 make a post and ask the community what brands/items youβd like made... plz comment and say the brand or item youβd like made and I will compile the info and bring it bAck 2 him. (Iβll edit post to show the data I sent him in 24-48 hrs) the best way for me to gauge actual interest in specific brands will be for you guys to take some time to go through whatβs been commented on and upvote it if u like it, downvote if u donβt. Iβll monitor this post and tally everything into excel as the next day goes on.
proof of subway asking me to do this
Thanks, hv a good day everyone.
I see lots of resources online on how to build a clothing brand. But for the most part, the resources are on how to build a t-shirt business. And more importantly, it's usually just a generic t-shirt + some logo.
I'd like to do something different. I'm really inspired by ASRV. I truly love their brand and I think its definitely a standout. I think there are definitely some areas where they can be improved for the design as well as the lineup. That's where I'd like to dive in.
But where I run into issues is that I truly don't know where to start on the creative and engineering aspects. I'd like to start designing but don't know how. I don't know how to source fabrics. I don't know how to mix fabrics. Luckily for a start-up clothing brand I'd assume Shopify would be of great help for operational aspects. But I'd like to know if there are any resources on how to CUSTOM build a clothing line with unique fabrics and non-traditional methods of design (i.e. utilizing a cinch, zippers, reflective 3M material, anti-odor fabric).
TLDR; Want to build a streetwear/athlesiure brand that's more than just a generic t-shirt + a logo. Would love some direction/resources on how to custom build clothing and on how to source different fabrics and how to potentially test them.
This is an observation I got from watching both Young Justice and Titans, both of which are adapted from DC comics. The showrunners have an eternal goal over expanding their cast of good guy-main characters. When executed poorly, shows end up overextending themselves by juggling numerous arcs and subplots while not giving audiences sufficient time to form a reason to care. Instead they seem to prefer that their audience bring over the emotional investment for the character that theyβve formed from places outside of said show in question, such as in this case the rich canon of comic books.
I feel like this all is sorely missing the point. As a medium totally distinct from comic, I want to buckle down and discover a team of showwriterβs interpretation of a fixed cast of characters. You might even say Iβm highkey willing to develop franchise loyalty around a solidified brand/style of a TV show. The more episode these guys are in, all front and center, the more Iβll naturally come to care. Because Iβd rather watch just the one, original team grow together than wait to be surprised by yet another new character. How many times do they expect us to βget excitedβ over yet another new cast/character announcement?
> Tony Khan, a lifelong pro wrestling fan and an Observer subscriber for about 22 years, who in the past has sent in live event reports and big show feedback, will be the President of the company. He will also be the head of creative, in the Vince McMahon role, with a team that would include several others working with him in that role.
> Matt & Nick Massie (Young Bucks) and Cody Runnels will all be Executive Vice Presidents. While there will be basically crossovers in responsibility, Runnelsβ focus will be singles wrestling and the Young Bucks focus will be tag team wrestling. Because The Bucks come in as two of the key stars of the promotion, there will be a much higher priority when it comes t tag team wrestling than in WWE. Brandi (Rhodes) Runnels will be both the Chief Brand Officer (the Stephanie McMahon role as a public face of the companyβalready marketed as Chief Brandi Officer) and also focus on the womenβs talent. Dana Massie, the wife of Matt, often called Mrs. Matt in social media, who has been credited with building the Young Bucks merchandise brand, will be head of merchandise.
> Ryan Barkan, who created and is the President of Pro Wrestling Tees, will also be part of the merchandise arm of the company. Chris Harrington, a stats whiz who has extensive knowledge of pro wrestling finances and business, has been hired as the head of business development. A number of other positions are in the process of being filled. There is expected to be at least one more Executive Vice President added to senior management.
This week's vintage FP listing focuses on Conway Stewart: a company founded in 1905 that β alongside Mabie Todd β reigned supreme on the British market over the first half of the twentieth century. Highlights include pens with flexible factory Stub and Oblique nibs, which CS manufactured in greater numbers than did most other makers. As always, all are fully restored and ready to write.
Pastable link: https://imgur.com/a/q0OW8Zs
Condition (n.b.): All pens listed below have been disassembled, cleaned and restored with new sacs installed in the last couple weeks. Each of these pens guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other problems. Nibs have been adjusted when necessary to ensure that all lay down a smooth and consistent line.
THESE PENS HAVE NO CRACKS, PERSONAL ENGRAVINGS, MISSING PARTS, BENT NIBS, MISALIGNED TINES, OR THREADING ISSUES.
Line Widths and Writing Samples: To provide buyers with as much information as possible, I have started to adopt the following line width standards: XXF (.1-.2mm); XF (approx .3mm); F (approx .4mm); M (approx .6mm); B (approx .8mm). Nib flexibility is determined by variation (max line width under pressure) and softness (amount of pressure). Flexibility designations based on variation generally run as follows for an XF/F nib: Semi-Flex (approx. 1mm); Flex (1.2-1.9mm); Superflex (>2mm). All line width measurements are taken with a digital caliper but should be considered approximations providing a general guide. Width may vary slightly depending on type of ink and paper used as well as amount of pressure applied. All writing samples are on Rhodia dot paper using Waterman Serenity Blue.
Some Notes on Casein: Conway Stewart and Burnham offered some pens made of casein plastic, derived from the milk protein. Rivaling the durability of celluloid, casein could be made in an array of exciting color patterns unobtainable with that material. But casein plastic has one significant drawback: it is unusually sensitive to water. If submersed and soaked, it's liable to suffer deformation and mutation. Over time, even lesser exposure to humid conditions β as in the attics and basements where these pens were so often stored β can cause it to develop crazing, i.e. fine surface cracks that have a mosaic or spiderweb appearance. Many of the casein Conway Stewarts I've encountered ex
