I have 20 coins left so I canβt give out anymore awards for now. Sorry, but congrats to everyone who got one (or several)
EDIT: Wow this blew up lol. Thanks to everyone who gave awards! To people wondering what this post is about: Last night at like 5 AM I decided to use my leftover coins to give out awards to a bunch of posts in new. I ended up running out of coins, but tons of people were still posting asking for awards, and messaging me asking for awards. So I made this post to tell everyone that Iβm out of coins and Iβm not giving any more awards. But I have more coins now from the awards I got from this post than I had originally, so thatβs cool. Thanks everyone for the upvotes, I only had 5k karma total on Reddit before this post. Love you all <3
Just comment random stuff tomorrow I might give away 4k. Edit: to whoever awarded me thanks, as a result Iβm going to 5k for the 50k members!
Edit 2: for the second award now itβs gone up to 6k
Edit 3: Iβve got to go to sleep. When I wake up Iβll give out the rest of the awards. Edit 4: Iβve woken up to over 200 hundred comments, Iβm sorry if I canβt gift you, Iβll gift all I can though. Edit 5: too many edits lol, if u/Mrslugo comes here tag me so I can give her an award. Edit 6: Out of coins Iβll buy more for slugo. For now though the βchallengeβ is over. Edit 7: alright my coin count is now zero. Mrsulgo enjoy your awards!
Edit 69420: I ended up giving 8,100 coins to all the winners enjoy!

Please, I beg of you, do not spend your coins until the last day of the banners or you 1000% know you are stopping. You never wanna buy cooler, then do a multi and pull him, wasting 400 coins.

All our anonymous lives are intersecting and colliding in this thread for a brief moment before we're gone.
Ask away!
FINAL UPDATE: I ran out of my 40K but purchased another 40K to answer all the remaining questions. u/kyleman39 asked the last question. I am going to now try and lock this thread. If it is locked and you would like to get in touch, feel free to chat or message me if you have any questions. For now, I will be on the other thread giving away awards for kind comments and mask wearing.
I look forward to doing this again sometime and will now go and work on this book. Thank you all!
Try and exhaust all my 40000 coins
Edit: If you're gonna ask a question, at least upvote me so we can ride to the top. :)
You can really see the flow of conversations on which ones keep going and which ones drop off.
Update: Ooh, I feel like a celebrity right now. So many questions, one every few seconds. I hope I can get through them all.

Update 10:10 AM - 33515 coins left. Thanks to all those who awarded me back. Your generosity is appreciated.
Update 11:39 AM - 31885 coins left. I am just getting over the questions from 12 hours ago. Hang in there. You'll get yours soon enough.
... keep reading on reddit β‘I am going to pick a random number between 1 and 50000 with a random number generator. You have unlimited tries, and whoever gets it first will receive a coin gift of 250 coins.
May the luckiest guesser win.
Also, every half an hour, I will give out a hint, with each one narrowing it down even further.
Edit: There's too many responses for me to handle, so I will give a pretty big hint: The number is over 40000.
Edit 2: The number is over 45000.
Edit 3: The number is in the 47000s.
Edit 4: You guys are killing me. Final hint: it's between 47600 and 47699.
Edit 5: Congrats to u/LFDT for winning the challenge. The number was 49694. Sorry to everyone, especially u/PancherosFood and u/AL_PL for trying so hard and not winning.
Perk Coins are so flawed I don't even know how they're still in the state they are after numerous COMPLETE and UTTER failures. There is not ONE SINGLE THING they do right.
They punish anyone who's opened perk cards up to this point as duplicate cards that have only one rank are just lost. Are you one of the most loyal Fallout 76 fans? Then you get fucked the most.
The amount of levels needed to level up these cards are so astronomical I'm not even looking forward to the final rank. I've just resigned myself to having the first rank of the perks and they're not really "legendary" at that point
The system itself is flawed at its very core. Even if it didn't take hundreds of levels to rank up one it still demands that you scrap all the perk cards you can and incentives never changing your SPECIAL. Remember what was the main point of perk cards? So that you could do this and change your build whenever you wanted?. Well now any time you want to get creative you are pushing yourself even further away from a nigh-unreachable goal.
Bethesda this isn't exciting. Maybe you're trying to maximize your "player-engagement" by make a nearly-infinite journey but that's not going to work. Compromise is essential and whatever this is supposed to be is asking too much.
So how do you fix it? How do you make a system that keeps people coming back and actually excited to earn these? Well I'll tell you.
Remove the scrapping of perk cards entirely. It's extremely detrimental to the roots of the perk card system
The one and only way to get perk coins will be through level up. Every time you level up past level 50, you will get one free perk coin. This does not cannibalize your option to either get a perk card or move a SPECIAL point, the perk coin is just a bonus. This allows players to still be flexible with their builds and not feel frustrated if they don't like their build as they're not being encouraged to only use level ups for 1/400th or whatever of a legendary perk (frustrated players are players who want to quit, you know). Players who are above level 50 will get a perk coin for each level that they should've got one.
The perk coin requirements for ranking up legendary perks will be changed to be more reasonable. The first time you rank up a legendary perk card, it takes 10 perk coins. The second time, 20. And the third and final time, 30. It takes a total of 60 levels to fully max one legendary perk. A reasonable amou
This is gonna be hard at the start. Iβm gonna narrow the number down to make it easier for you.
The number is between 2600-2700
You have unlimited guesses but 1 number per comment. If I donβt reply to you you do not have the number.
Edit: The number range is very very small!!!
Edit: there are only 100 numbers that you can guess
Edit: It is very hard to manage 500 or more comments lol
Final Edit: This was fun, the number was 2694

I'm in Denver and I keep seeing more and more coin shortage signs. I understand physically yes but in the big picture or behind the scenes why is this going on, what does it mean and what's going to happen next? I have never seen this before. I have been inside for a few days so thanks for any information!
This is a game show type challenge, so the explanation may be a bit lengthy. Bear with me, I promise itβll be worth it.
Thanks to u/goldbyefish for coming up with the awesome idea!
First of all, if youβd like to participate, comment and tell me so :)
Itβs based off of the game show βGolden Ballsβ: split or steal. First, comment your intent to enter. If youβre randomly selected (I will be picking two people every now and then for a round until the post is marked as βclosedβ) I will then reply asking you to choose a number from 1-30. Some have gold, some are jackpots that have MULTIPLE golds, some have vanity awards, some have nothing, and - to make this interesting - some are bombs which will automatically destroy your chances of winning.
Your opponent will also get two boxes.
Both of you will then DM me either stating your intent to βsplitβ (each have roughly have of the prizes) or βstealβ (you get both sets). However: if you both pick steal, nobody gets anything. If you post your decision as a comment instead of DMing me, youβll get disqualified. Iβll post screenshots of the DMs for transparency purposes, just letting you know ahead of time!
For another twist, the person who walked away with the most prizes in their respective round gets a bonus platinum as the grand prize. One random person who lost their round gets a coin gift as consolation.
If you donβt respond to my comment within 20 mins you forfeit your right to compete in that round (you may be randomly generated for a different round, though).
That is all :) I turn 17 tomorrow!
Thanks everyone :)
Edit: because of a few entries where both unfortunately didnβt win, the number pool is now 1-40 to add more prize-winning spots
Edit edit: the odds are now super super good
I donβt have many coins but I have always wanted to do one of these challenges. If it doesnβt get done in two days, nobody wins. Winner was u/OJwslist
At 5 Coins per Perk Card discarded, you would earn Coins at a rate that actually felt like progression. You'd be ranking up your already earned Legendary Perks before unlocking the next one.
It costs 450 Coins to Max a Legendary Perk (50 Coins to hit Rank 2, 100 more to hit Rank 3, and 200 more to hit Rank 4). You can equip 6 Legendary Perks, meaning you will need a total of 2,700 Coins to max all 6.
You earn 1 Perk per level, with 4 additional Perks earned every 5 levels from Perk Packs. By Level 50, you will have earned a total of 90 Perks, as well as the first Legendary Perk unlock. HOWEVER, you will need a minimum of 56 of those Perks for your actual build. Meaning you can have a maximum of 34 Perk Cards available to actually convert to Coins, assuming you didn't need to actually swap P.E.R.F.E.C.T. points around and picked exactly every Perk you wanted. This does not allow for any extra Perks to have for backup builds either.
Going off of the assumption that you don't keep ANY extra Perks leveling up, nor change around your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. distribution, you would be looking at the following rate of progression at 5 Coins per Perk Card:
Level 50: +34 Perks (170 Coins)
-Legendary Perk 1 available (170 Coins Earned. 450 Total Coins Needed to Level all Legendary Perks up to Max. 280 More Coins needed to max all available Legendary Perks.)
Level 75: +45 Perks (225 Coins)
-Legendary Perk 2 available (395 Coins Earned. 900 Total Coins Needed to Level all Legendary Perks up to Max. 505 More Coins needed to max all available Legendary Perks.)
Level 100: +45 Perks (225 Coins)
-Legendary Perk 3 available (620 Coins Earned. 1 Legendary Perk can be maxed. 1,350 Total Coins Needed to Level all Legendary Perks up to Max. 730 More Coins needed to max all available Legendary Perks.)
Level 150: +90 Perks (450 Coins)
-Legendary Perk 4 available (1,070 Coins Earned. 2 Legendary Perks can be maxed. 1,800 Total Coins Needed to Level all Legendary Perks up to Max. 730 More Coins needed to max all available Legendary Perks.)
Level 200: +90 Perks (450 Coins)
-Legendary Perk 5 available (1,520 Coins Earned. 3 Legendary Perks can be maxed. 2,250 Total Coins Needed to Level all Legendary Perks up to Max. 730 More Coins needed to max all available Legendary Perks.)
Level 300: +180 Perks (900 Coins)
-Legendary Perk 6 available *(2,420 Coins Earned.
Commenting on this post will gain you a entry to the raffle.
Winner will be picked in 1 day. Good luck.
EDIT: u/reallylikepenguins has won the raffle. I have given him the award on his latest post.
I also have given a award to u/kcguy1 as I did something wrong and I thought he won.
I recently did a megathread giving away an award for each question. I am here to give away awards for each 'yes' commitment. Also upvote this thread for visibility and to affirm your support.
Feel free to share a permalink of your kind comment if you like. Spread love/kindness not viruses.
Oh yes and you can still ask me anything. And I might turn this into a part II book.
Note: I wish I could personally respond to each of you. If I don't, take my upvote as a thank you and the award as a gift of gratitude. FYI: I will go through these so it might take a little while for me to get to yours. Thanks for your patience.
UPDATE Aug 14 2020 - Finally done distributing coins. Thank you all!
5 guesses per person.
Trust me, you wont find it on my post/comment history.
Also: please put all of your guesses in one comment only.
Closing in 24 hours
Edit: closest person to guess it gets it, or if you guess it correctly. You also now have 5 guesses.
Closed. Congrats! u/DicksOutForGrapeApe

As the title says, Monero is easily seen by others as the most prestigious coin out there.
Talking about privacy? Almost everyone knows that Monero brings serious privacy to the table. Even if they disagree, they respect those that discuss Monero.
Chatting about Monero in r/CryptoCurrency? Hardly anyone will accuse you of shilling, unlike practically any other coin. Even ETH is called out for shilling there more than XMR.
Lead developers and representatives of Wasabi and Samourai, who have a strong feud and rarely agree on anything, increasingly agree that Monero is a great privacy tool.
Historically Bitcoin and Ethereum-focused speakers like Andreas Antonopoulos create educational content about Monero's unique benefits and invite Monero community members to have their voice represented on their platforms.
Most Bitcoin maximalists loudly support Bitcoin and oppose anything else, though they are usually quiet when it comes to speaking out against Monero. When they do, it's usually some weak "Bitcoin will get there eventually, just you see!" statement that they don't actually believe. And they typically concede that Monero is the shitcoin "exception."
Ethereum maximalists will often complain about Bitcoin maximalists while purposefully avoiding speaking ill of Monero.
Ripple, VeChain, IOTA, Nano, and other communities argue among themselves. They may not often speak about Monero, but they know it's the real deal.
Even when people talk about Monero's disadvantages, they acknowledge that the Monero communities are the first to be self-critical. Random statements about Monero being bad because x, y, or z are becoming less common. Increasingly, people respect the design trade-offs that Monero makes.
Monero has near-universal respect (even if it's sometimes reluctant) from cryptocurrency communities. Monero is the privacy and security standard. It's boring but it works, and everyone knows that. Monero has one of the strongest, well-known, and respected "brands" of any project. It's not the sexiest project at most times, but Monero is the reliable friend who will always be there.
Support Monero with pride. Not because you support it no matter what, but because you are part of a movement that takes matters seriously and has earned respect. Have the confidence that when you share why privacy and fungibility are important, others will take you seriously. "Just use Monero" isn't

Now its s 300 points to max out a card, down from 500.
So scrapping 150 cards at 2 points a card should get you one maxed legendary card.
Hello everyone, I hope youβre all having a good day. :)
Iβm doing a giveaway on Xbox, and there will be 5 prizes total. Iβm giving away 88 McCaffrey, 87 Henry, 87 Cox, 85 J. Kelce, and 80k coins (or 80k in player value if youβd rather me buy a player or two for you). Iβm not having a lot of fun in Madden this year, and Iβd like to play MUT more casually. Plus, Iβd really like to make someone elseβs day.
Iβd like to share some of my story with all of you, as it ties into why Iβm giving these players and coins away.
I had a really poor childhood. I grew up with a stepfather that abused me daily, and a mother that never cared enough to do anything about it. It was mostly emotional/psychological abuse. A few times it got physical, but when it did I felt like my stepdad wanted to kill me so I did my best to follow whatever he said and speak up as little as possible. One time he choked me because he didnβt like the look I had on my face when I looked at him. My mother ended up downplaying everything that happened, and as a result, I wasnβt really able to fully process what happened and move on from it.
I never felt loved as a kid, and on most days I would go outside to cry and ask God why no one loved me. I sometimes got caught up in the illusion that my mother cared about me growing up because she would tell me she did, but I never sensed any real love from her. We moved to the United States from Kazakhstan when I was 7 to live with my stepfather. Within a few months, it was clear that my stepfather was a narcissist and highly abusive. It was evident that he didnβt care about her either, and I believe she tried to form a closer relationship to me to fill the hole in her heart. She wasnβt allowed to have friends and she had no family here. But I think what I felt from her wasnβt love, it was more like emotional attachment. In a sense, I was all she had.
I ended up developing psychological issues as a result of the trauma and abuse I endured as a child (bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder). As well as social anxiety because from a young age, I equated relationships with pain, so I didnβt socialize as much as other kids growing up and tried my best to keep to myself. I thought, Iβm already hurt enough by being home, I donβt want to be hurt by other people at school too. I grew up feeling really lonely as a result, and at times people would even see me as creepy because I had trouble relating to others properly.
I always wanted a different
... keep reading on reddit β‘#The randomly generated number was 9548, the person who was closest was u/abn110 who guessed 9462, earning them a total of 2 coin gifts.
When looking through all your comments, very few of you chose a number over 9000, I was hoping someone would have got closer to the number. Not to worry, Iβll probably come up with another challenge to give away those remaining coin gifts.
#This has now ended
I have randomly generated a number between 1 and 10,000, you need to guess what it is!
The closest will win at least 1 coin gift, but you can win more depending on how close you are.
You may only guess once. Winner will be announced 24 hours from now.
Proof that I have generated a number at 14:27 BST (8 minutes before this post went live)
Good luck!
Edit: Iβm happy to give away other awards of similar value if you donβt want coin gifts, we can discuss this if you win.
I know some may laugh at this or say βtough luckβ but my circumstances are really not good right now. Iβm unemployed thanks to COVID and have a young infant in my care.
Earlier today a kind redditor rewarded me with gold and it got me curious to see what it was all about. I went to that section of the app and was scrolling down. Before I knew it, a message popped up saying I was making a purchase of $159.95!? No thumb scan or anything required. The money was gone, just like that. Something I did must have registered as a defined βtouchβ and there must be a setting in the app that overrides my usual pay verifications.
This amount of money is the difference between me eating properly for a week and more distressingly, my baby not getting everything they need.
What can I do? I sent a quick email to [email protected] asking if the transaction can be reversed. Is it likely they will respond to me, let alone help with my request? If they say no, is it worth my time quickly disputing this through PayPal?
Any suggestions on what to do would be much appreciated. Phone numbers to call, email addresses to contact etc. Iβm feeling panicked and desperate.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: success! Thank you all! :) See my post below.
Are there any cryptocurrencies that have more utility than a visa card? Can they do things you can't do otherwise, or can't do easily otherwise?
Bitcoin is terrible as a currency - slower, easier for the government to track, more expensive transactions than USD. What coins actually do something other than be a vehicle for speculation?
