When the combined forces of Italy, Germany and Hungary invaded Yugoslavia in April 1941 the entire country fell in the space of less than two weeks with only a few thousand Axis casualties (mostly Italian, German casualties do not even amount to 1000 men). However, Yugoslavia had an infamously effective resistance movement afterward, with Axis losses, especially Germans, being many tens of thousands higher than during the invasion proper, and large parts of the country essentially falling out of Axis control due to the effectiveness of various partisan groups. Its said that Yugoslavia essentially liberated itself without need for direct intervention of other allied forces, all this despite major divisions within the country and significant collaboration. What was going on that made a country that seemed to be such a pushover in 1941 such a resistance powerhouse afterward?
What I mean by the title is the blade basically free drops but only after it overcomes a sort of tough resistance the first bit of closing. This is annoying because I have to flick it to close, and then it ends up bouncing back open because the rest of the action has no resistance at all. My knife basically bounces open every time I close it. When I watch videos of people flicking their knife closed without it bouncing open, I am a bit jealous...
Conversely, when I open the blade, the final part of the opening motion is a bit grindy. It's like the part of the action near a fully open position is much tighter than the rest.
Any workaround for this? I'm trying to adjust the pivot screw but without much luck. Thanks!
Edit: Issue was solved by loosening the stop bar screw. Much appreciated!
Yugoslavia historically had the most insane and successful resistance movement during the war. The Germans literally had to send Divisions and even Armies I believe into Yugoslavia to try and put it down.
The Yugoslavian resistance was more like a standing army than an underground movement. They fielded I believe hundreds of thousands of armed troops.
I think this is something that should happen in the game. Resistance should be strong and it should spawn actual Divisions eventually on the map.
Just a quick post before I start taking things a part, looking for some advice on things to try to do to fix this issue.
Background information pre-problem: Built the kit, all axis moved smooth. Setup went perfect and received the congratulations. All axis could be moved with very little to no resistance. Belts were tensioned good, everything aligned and working!
The whole process went flawless according to all the manual/instructions. I encountered no problems except for the initial first layer setup...which I spent hours to perfect using lots of information and guides on this reddit etc.
I’ve ran PLA no issues besides bed adhesion which was fixed shortly after perfecting the first layer calibrations I ran.
I switched to petg, printed with no issues and lots of hours of prints. Adhesion and layers all good.
Overall.... flawless setup, and prints. Lots of hours put into it...no problems.
Now onto today’s issue:
I started a print as usual from the sd card. 1 hour into the... keep reading on reddit ➡
