There was ringing in my ears—I must’ve passed out or something. There’d been a commotion of some sort, then I’d gone black, and now there was a gurney—they were putting it in the back of an ambulance. I scrambled to my feet and slapped at the ambulance’s back door, but they must’ve been preoccupied, because the ambulance started driving away.
No! Wait! I called out to them, but they ignored me—or maybe they didn’t hear. There were cops, but they were all focused on the two young men sitting on the curb wearing handcuffs. There were onlookers, but they were all standing off at a distance and weren’t paying any attention to me.
Presbyterian Hospital was only a mile down the road—surely that’s where they were headed. There was a bicycle parked in a rack back behind the cops. I didn’t want to steal—or borrow without permission—but this was an emergency. I hopped on it, but I couldn’t get the pedals to turn. Figures. I got off the bike and started running. I had to get to the hospital before they did something with it.
I ran as hard as I could, harder than I knew I could, and minutes later I was there. Thank God—there was the ambulance. I ran around back to the opened door, but the ambulance was empty. They must’ve already taken it inside. I ran through the hospital doors into the emergency room reception area.
There were lots of people there, many of whom were waiting in line to speak to one of the two receptionists on duty. I couldn’t get anyone’s attention, so I took the matter into my own hands. I had to find it—I couldn’t wait in line; I had to find it as soon as possible.
I ran back to the area where all the bays were, each one apparently inhabited by a patient, some being attended to by doctors and nurses, others not. There were so many bays, but I had to find it. I had to find it before they did something with it—I was desperate. I was so afraid they’d lose it.
Then, finally, I did find it, in a bay toward the end of the space where a half dozen or so doctors and nurses were mostly just standing around. There, still lying on the ambulance gurney, was my body, my shirt torn open and two bullet holes in my chest, an intubation tube down my throat.
“He’s gone,” I heard one of them say. “There’s nothing we can do.”
No! No! That can’t be! I tried to get their attention, but no one would listen. I tried to crawl back inside, but I couldn’t—something was blocking me. My body was cold and damp and flaccid, my eyes only half open.

... keep reading on reddit ➡They are everywhere now. And they want you to believe “this song is coming from the heart” and “going out to the victims & families” but deep down they just want to capitalize on a captive audience that gives them an “in”.
Hey y’all. Will there ever be a possibility of a patreon that gives us access to the “wild shit” Binky said that was edited out of the episode??? Would love to know what was said at 1:20:38! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/how-neal-feel/id1461677443?i=1000465332776
I understand the desperation but no, running a COVID-19 sale for your mom and pop vacuum shop isn't going to get me to buy right now. It's going to make me immediately unsubscribe.
I wanted to share this incredible email I received yesterday from a small retailer that does a great job of cultivating an authentic relationship with their customers. There isn’t a single link to their site. They’re just reaching out to give a quick update on deliveries and say “you’re not just dollars to us, we care about you as a person”.
If you’re in the market for a sweet hat, def check them out.

Our showroom will be closed until governing bodies determine that it is prudent to re-open. We are going to be pulling back from promotional efforts because we know that toilet paper and food takes precedenceover clothing. Billboards are everywhere down here, and the commercials are as corny as hell. One dude looks like he is 176 years old.
I think I did the spoiler tag wrong, pls don’t hate me.
Heard some mentions from various groups and was wondering if anyone saw/heard anything?
So [this lawfirm] (http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20170804005581/en/EQUITY-ALERT-Rosen-Law-Firm-Announces-Investigation) is trying to make a class action lawsuit against AAOI for misleading the investors about their upcoming Q3 estimates. Do you think that there is actually something there or do you think that these lawyers are just trying to take advantage of the big dip and upset investors?
listening on the scanner... guy's just going back and forth up sand point way, but cops havent stopped him yet. He rammed a cruiser and kept going. They're tracking with GPS so not worried about losing him. SFD A10 was stolen downtown
I was banned from /r/The_Donald/. Here's what I would have said in response to this post:
When I first saw this article from Los Angeles Times, its title was: > Trump meets his match: Stormy Daniels' combative lawyer Michael Avenatti
Here are some other articles about this story:
I don't mean to offend anyone by the title of this post. I just want to know the best course of action for my situation.
I was rear-ended by a guy who was texting and I've already filed a claim with his insurance, but I haven't received a call from the claims adjuster. I was the passenger in my girlfriend's car (it was just us two) and she does not have insurance, so we contacted a lawyer. He told us to go to Urgent Care and it turns out that I have a concussion and my girlfriend has a small fracture along her back. The lawyer is telling me that he'll work on contingency and that he'll cover "any and legal costs". Is there anything I should look out for before signing his agreement?

Hello everybody, hope all is well.. This week's track is the b-side from the Stupid Dream sessions, Ambulance Chasing. The song, like a lot of the Stupid Dream era songs like This Is No Rehearsal and Even Less, debuted in late 1997. It was first featured on the Piano Lessons CD Single and would later be compiled on Recordings. Like Tinto Brass, it was actually written by the entirety of the band. Not much is known about the track, or why it was left off the album, but my guess is that it stemmed from the same jam that resulted in Tinto Brass - considering both songs are the only ones credited to all four members on Stupid Dream and they both have similarities. Definitely a crazy track.
It also features an appearance from Mr. Theo Travis, who also performed on Stupid Dream's "Don't Hate Me" and previously, "The Sky Moves Sideways". Additionally, strings are provided by the East of England Orchestra.
For those with a nice surround setup, the song is available on the bonus disc of the CD/DVD-A version of Stupid Dream in 5.1 (along with the full version of Even Less).
